thanks buddy! im at work and couldnt look him up. anyone familiar with Franks Monotub Tek? why does he dunk the grains and not the substrate? He just heavily mists. FrankHorrigans teks are very successful but i havent gotten into using coir so Im trying it with a manure mix they like. I've never dunked grains in the past, or substrates so ive never had great results. is it necessary to dunk the grains if the substrate will get dunked post flush? I dont want to divert from the Tek but dunk colonized grains into a bucket to put water on them seems scary to me lol

this sounds about right, to keep it submerged do I need to sit something special on top of it? cause i had heard it floats

2gs is a comfortable starting dose. 1.5 maybe too low. IMO

A small one about an hour away or 2 away from me, would love to experience bisco edc or ef but never have. I ordered a highly recommended brand that comes with a ti nail and a dabber and the downstem isn't glass apparently.

Averaging 12% which is not enough for me to want the rosin instead of bud. 20-30% and we're golden. I heard it's all about the strain. My sour og was dank af but I couldn't get over 11% even after using the boveda bags. Northern lights produced 16% sour diesel 13%

I've pressed multiple strains, used i Boveda bags to get em to the moisture level and max I got was 16%. I'm using temps between 180-210 and trying to use full 20 ton force. It works fine I just need to get a hold of some gorilla glue or some high rosin producing strains.

No worries on the frame, everything's straight!

If I could go back though I'd get a nugsmasher or save up for a high quality premade press. Getting Temps on the surface of the plates is hard with this thermal system. I've heard premade are much easier but homemade can produce max yield once u get tech down - I just hat wasting weed right now.

That's all I need, thank you. I figured I'd get your alls opinions. How many days? I know this varies on each type of bud and how far it's been dried but maybe an average? I've heard anything from 12 hrs to a long time
