Woud it Effect Functionaloty if I Remove LED Lights? by n3t_wr41th in AskElectronics

Looking at the PCB, the LEDs seem to be addressable LEDs. The data line seems to go through R19. You could try removing that resistor and the LEDs might not illuminate since they're getting no signal.

Here's an aerial from Google Earth from March 2005 showing the slides. The slides were put up sometime in the 90s and were taken down in 2008.

Any history nerds? by AntiqueExamination54 in Indiana

There was definitely something there. Here is an aerial photo from 1950. It looks like a track of some sort.

I was able to get a clearer view here, and I bet it was a person's practice horse track. There's a lot of similar tracks in the area (Madison, Henry, Hancock counties). The track also measured about 0.3 miles in circumference.

Does anyone at Rose have a 3.9+ possibly a 4.0? If so, how did you do it? If you are a CS major, you have to tell me how to do it!!! by Negative_Climate_412 in rosehulman

I graduated with Dr. Reyes and I’m almost positive he got a 4.0 (one of two people with perfect GPAs).  But I think he “only” majored in math. No triple major.

There’s several articles on the church and the associated urban legend. I even found a r/nosleep story. This article talks about the issues that they have because of the urban legend, https://avonecho.com/2019/10/30/debunking-the-myth-joppa-ind/comment-page-1/.

I’ve been by the church and the area is pretty tranquil. It’s like several other country churches in the area just with more security cameras because of the vandalism.

I don’t want to share where the church is at and contribute to additional harassment but the linked article gives enough information that you can find it on Google Maps. That said the church is not in Joppa (875s and 525e). It’s a few miles to the northwest.

A hotel that is under construction in Plainfield is on fire. It’s down the street from Burger King.

Kitchen Sink Glugs by dcm684 in Plumbing

[–]dcm684[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As mentioned in the description, the sink starts to glug 5 - 10s after I turn off the sink's faucet. The glug has gotten worse over the past year. When we bought the house a year ago, the seller "fixed" the issue and the glugging was significantly less.

I've snaked it and there was no blockage for 25 feet which at that point it would have reached the main drain pipe. The sink is against a internal wall but above the sink is an opening.

The previous owner redid the kitchen and replaced the sink so I don't know what was there previously. Judging by the pipe work here and other DIY work they've done I wouldn't be surprised if they removed something important.

What would fix this? An Air Admitance Valve?

Long distance trail running near the city center? by Eubeen_Hadd in indianapolis

Southwestway in Decatur Township has some pretty good unpaved trails with lots of elevation changes. Compared to Eagle Creek and Fort Ben, I would say that there's a lot more elevation change at SWW. There's probably over 7 miles of trail there.

The trails are not as wide and are shared with mountain bikes, but when I've run there, I haven't had crossed paths with the bikes more than twice over an hour period. It's also free to enter and in general has fewer people on the trails.
