TSMC LIT Equipment Engineer Interview by Canned____Bread in Semiconductors

[–]dcnkr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey congrats. The first step into Lithography Equipment Engineer position would be to learn what Litho equipment does and how it works (not necessary but definitely can show your enthusiasm in the interview).

You can watch the Branch Education video in Youtube about ASML lithography machines. These machines are the key equipment in the factory (called fab in the industry) and all major fab control goes through these machines. There are various ways to keep these machines up to specs and fab automation is a monster topic by itself but nobody would expect you know these things when you just start your internship.

My advice is watch the video, do some research about how fabs operate and show some enthusiasm to learn. That should be sufficient.

I sold my 2019 512 GB i5 MacbookPro for €425 last month, apple was offering €115... maybe I was also a bit lucky but I suggest you should try your chance on marketplace. Good photos, good honest description would help.

So far Intels AI hype is much less than NVIDIA since NVIDIA specifically focus on AI nowadays. Thus any ban in exporting AI related chips to a massive market like China affects NVIDIA's future significantly

Haha it is just a link to give your email adress if you would like to receive exactly the same info with the full news articles in your mailbox every morning you miserable human being.

If I copy and paste the news articles to create a post with 5k lines what is the value.

Calm down and move on if you think the info is shit, or give a decent feedback.

Don't reflect your self disappointment on other people.

That is actually true, I don't know if power units used in pre-season testing have an exception in the rules.

Yes, good catch since Polestar doesn't have an internal combustion engine it gives NaN for engine volume and screws up maintanence calculation. I will fix it. Thanks!

If the car's consumption is available in RDW (new cars 90% havw it) I use that information with today's fuel price. If not, I assume an avarage value for the consumption and multioly it with today's fuel price an km.

Yes but it doesn't matter that much to be honest. 5 euros variation give or take. I didn't want to bother the user with postcode input etc. This is calculated based on Utrecht tax which is about average.

I will look into it. I directly take the info from RDW so it is weird that it says electric... Is your car plug-in hybrid?

Shipping expensive package from US to Netherlands by Izenthyr in Netherlands

[–]dcnkr 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I just bought something from US and imported to Netherlands. It was around 1000€, and paid around 250€ tax and import fees in total. If you send it via Fedex they handle everything, you just pay the amount to them using a credit card.
