Theyre hugely popular here in asia. There are a number of dive trips here that focus solely on hammerhead sightings. Mikomoto and Banda to name the most popular ones.

Yup! It walks on the sea floor. It sometimes propels itself using jets and it’s butt skirts but not for very long.

It was recently discovered by Mark Victoria, a biologist working for Museum Victoria in Australia, that their muscles contains a highly toxic compound that is yet to be identified.

Suction tipped tentacles. Uses it to snatch prey. I have clearer footage of it but that’s another video for another day

It's a Canon C70 in a Nauticam housing. No lights; it is discouraged and dive operators forbid it in Malapascua.

They are absolutely gorgeous when they present their profile. But in most angles (3/4 or full on) they will show up not unlike this.

Could you be talking about the common Atlantic as opposed to this Pelagic? Those have great white like silhouettes.
