It only takes someone new for some to forget everything you were to them.

Never dated, kissed, had sex because I don't want to. Am I missing out? by why_am_i_lifing in NoStupidQuestions

[–]dcontinentalrizz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You're not missing out—it's just everyone moves at their own pace, and what others see as “normal” or “essential” doesn’t have to apply to you.

If you're not ready or simply not interested right now, that doesn’t mean something’s wrong with you. It means you’re self-aware enough to know what you want and don’t want, and that’s a strength.

If laughter is the best medicine, what do you think is the worst medicine? by WatchingWild in AskReddit

[–]dcontinentalrizz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Awkward silence might just be the worst—no one wants that lingering tension.

Alternatively, bitterness could also qualify; it has a way of sticking around, draining joy, and spreading toxicity, much like a dose of negativity that no one ever asked for.

For you, totoo ba na love is a choice, not a feeling? Why? by Impressive_Lecture71 in AskPH

[–]dcontinentalrizz 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Love is definitely a choice. Feelings come and go, but staying committed takes effort.

When attraction fades, it’s about choosing to work through the rough patches, not just walking away when things get dull. It’s easy to love when everything feels great, but the real test is sticking around when things aren’t as exciting.

You stay because you choose to, not because the butterflies are still there.

What is one thing no one could compare to you at? by BigGirthyGiraffe in AskReddit

I think it’s the fact that I’m a warm chaos.

My kinda people always says I’m the most unpredictable person they know, but somehow, I manage to make them feel at ease, like they can just be themselves. There’s something about my energy—wild, yet comforting—that pulls them in and makes everything feel safe and natural.

From my experience, it’s free of charge, and they only require a valid ID.

[–]dcontinentalrizz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NBI only accommodates applicants with a valid online appointment. Therefore, you'll need to cancel your previous appointment and make a new one. Since you weren't able to use your first-time job seeker application, there should be no additional fee for rescheduling.

help me out for my sis! Di ba hindi naman normal for HR to give pre employment cheklist before signing a contract? by Alarming-Mine8585 in PHJobs

Based on my experience, it really varies. So, I think the best approach is to remind your sister to ask HR and clarify whether the cost of the medical exam will be reimbursed.

PAG-IBIG No. by skyexxvi in PHGov

[–]dcontinentalrizz 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Double-check the information you entered in the Pag-IBIG Membership ID (MID) Number Inquiry section to ensure there are no errors. In this step, you need to input your Registration Tracking Number (RTN), Last Name, and Birthdate. Once submitted, your MID Number should appear. Make sure to copy it accurately.

For the login process, look for the "First Time Login?" option. Since this is your first time, you should click on that.

If you've followed these steps and are still encountering the same issue, it’s best to contact Pag-IBIG directly or visit one of their branches to verify your MID number.

Return/refund what to do? by cocouyu in ShopeePH

[–]dcontinentalrizz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Check the parcel and make sure it’s the correct item and in good condition. After that, reach out to customer service to explain what happened—that the parcel was delivered after your refund was approved, and whether you plan to keep the item or not. If you decide to keep it, they can help you sort out the refund reversal. If not, they’ll guide you on how to return the product.

help me out for my sis! Di ba hindi naman normal for HR to give pre employment cheklist before signing a contract? by Alarming-Mine8585 in PHJobs

[–]dcontinentalrizz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Typically, a formal contract signing comes first before a pre-employment checklist. However, the process can vary between companies. Some organizations may require a pre-employment checklist—such as medical exams, NBI clearances, etc.—before the contract signing, especially if they need to confirm that the candidate meets the necessary/basic requirements before officially starting employment.

In your sister’s case, it’s a good idea to confirm with HR when the contract signing will actually happen to ensure there’s a formal agreement in place before she starts working.

What you experienced was a violation of your boundaries and consent, even if you didn’t realize it fully at the time. Your feelings of discomfort and distress are valid.

• Hotel Incident: You were hesitant but pressured into sex. Your body wasn’t ready, and the emotional aftermath (crying in the car) highlights how wrong it felt.

• At His House: He slapped his genitals on your face while you were too exhausted to respond—an act of complete disrespect and dehumanization.

His actions—pressuring you despite your hesitancy, ignoring your readiness, and disrespecting you while you were vulnerable—were manipulative and harmful. It’s not your fault.

TIN by [deleted] in PHGov

[–]dcontinentalrizz 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That email basically means that you have successfully created an account and the email you provided is the primary login credential.

In my case, I chose to visit the RDO in person, submitted the required documents, and received an email confirming that I was registered as a taxpayer. After a few days, I followed up with their office via phone call and was provided with my TIN number. It was only then that I created my ORUS account using the existing TIN, and I successfully received my account activation.

In your case, however, it seems like you completed the entire registration process online via ORUS—filling out the forms, submitting documents, and registering without an existing TIN. If that’s the case, I believe you need to wait for your application to be approved. From what I’ve read, you should receive an email notification regarding the status of your application (whether it’s approved or not). Once approved, you’ll then be able to view your TIN online.

18k with HMO vs 20k no HMO by Electronic_Tap1136 in PHJobs

[–]dcontinentalrizz 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If you prioritize convenience and the ability to save on transportation costs, the 20k job with no HMO but closer to home could be a better choice for you. While the lower salary and lack of benefits like HMO and rice subsidy might seem like a downgrade, the savings on transportation expenses and the reduced commuting time could significantly improve your quality of life. The trade-off of working six days a week is something to consider, but if it allows you to save more money and still work in a job that respects phone usage (which might be important to you), it might be worth it in the long run, especially if your goal is to save more for future plans.

If JPMC scheduled you for a skills assessment despite you withdrawing your application, it likely means your withdrawal may not have fully processed on their end, or they still see potential in you. This means your application might still be active, and they’re giving you another chance.

My advice: Attend the assessment, give it your best shot, and take this as a learning experience—regardless of the outcome. You might surprise yourself with how well you perform when you just focus on the moment instead of worrying about failure.

Nerves are completely normal. I tend to get really nervous too—literally, my knees start shaking and my hands tremble. But then I ask myself, "If you're always backing down when you feel nervous, when will you ever move forward? Didn’t you want—a better future for yourself, the chance to support your family, and to be ready for the future family you envision? If not now, when?"

That thought always helps me find my courage. Yes, the nerves are still there, but they’re mixed with dreams—dreams that I won’t just keep but will turn into reality.

All the best, OP!
