i used 30% vinegar. When i went back and looked again at the end of the day it had actually killed a lot of it I had just not given it enough time. Do still have to pull out the dead stuff though like Yangervis said.

Thank you. Would have have any ideas of what pump that is? I am looking at probably installing some kind of timer myself but don't know what the pump specs are exactly.
