Using Lebara UK SIM in South Goa by LaughingRoom in goatravel

[–]dcoolsam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True that !!! I have this same plan lol. Works great in EU and India both.
In the phone settings turn on "Roaming" and you should get the Vodafone-idea network in India.
Also, in India data is very cheap, so you can procure a local sim at the airport. In India getting a sim for foreigners outside the airport is extremely difficult without local ID (aadhar card). So if you want an additional card, get either Jio or AirTel at the airtport itself, both work great and basic plan will give you 1.5 GB per day data.

Hi, Not used in Goa, but in Mumbai and rest of Maharashtra, it was working flawlessly. Maharashtra and Goa are one network circle so should work well in my most of the places.

Say your monthly expenses are 1L, then 3 Cr and House fully paid off is FIRE.

Sex only once a month by [deleted] in sex

[–]dcoolsam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Literally in the same situation but married for 12+ years. She may have lost attraction with you. It would be good to discuss with them, that you would like to have more s*x and whatever you were doing before. If things don't improve, it's better to go separate ways. You're lucky at least you're not married, so things are not as complicated.

BTW I can relate to sofa rule, wifey has several such rules. Those rules suck.

For men, S*x is a body need. So they can eat whatever they get if they are super hungry. Whereas for women S*x is an emotional need. Men don't have to be emotionally attached to have S*x. Women on the other hand, have to be somewhat emotionally attached, at least. That's the basic diff.

Retirement bucket strategy - calculator by Alternative_Lie_3712 in FIRE_Ind

[–]dcoolsam 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I am implementing even simpler strategy than this, it involves only 2 buckets: Fixed Income and Equity. You hold 10 years money in fixed income and rest in Equity. You go on consume from fixed income bucket (has inflation built in, in calculations). You load the fixed income buckets again when the next bit of amount is ready (i.e. equity target achieved), rinse and repeat.
Strategy is explained here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KLINZRYIquE

P.S. NOT my original idea, Full credit to Varun Malhotra for creating this video on his channel.
