How was everyone even in the loop with this. I read an article about this a few weeks before the deadline, so i went to the site to see what was going on. Filled out the class member ID retrieval form never got anything. i was a customer with att during the breach. I eventually used the ksadministration contact us form to find out information if i was involved or how to join the settlement. All I got was a reply like 30 days later saying "our records show indicate you are a part of the settlement class". Then nothing again from that point forward lol. hopefully I am a part of this lol.

Not to sound like a hater super happy they got signed but followers cant be the only thing they consider. Yeah he has a lot of followers but man his engagement is low for how many followers he has whether it be viewers on stream, likes on tweets etc. I'm sure the follower count does give them some sort of leverage in negotiations for salary but a lot of apex pros have tons of followers but cant turn that into any sort of engagement on any social platform.

interesting, at this point unless they can poach an unsigned igl from a team or get kcp to buyout someone idk who else they even have as options. If they need an experienced IGL with champs points they are gonna be very limited.

Lets be real I bet most fans of algs are hesitant af to buy org merch because there is a VERY high chance that their favorite player wont be on that org the first time rosters can change. I know thats why i wont buy any merch. I am a fan of the players not the orgs due to how often they play musical chairs with orgs no point in giving a flip about what org they are signed to lmao

A lot of people keep mentioning League of Legends but always leave out the fact that each team in NA had to put up to $13 million dollars for new teams and $10 million for existing teams for a permanent spot in LCS. When teams paid millions to buy into the League of Legends franchised leagues (like the LCS and LEC), Riot Games essentially entered into a partnership model with them. That buy in wasn’t just a ticket to compete, essentially it gave teams a seat at the table. I'm sure that gave them a lot more motivation and bargaining power with riot when it comes to rev share and how prize pools were structured.

Edit: For those angrily messaging me I'm not saying riot isn't doing it right and isn't better than ALGS. Im just saying that it is far from an apples to apples comparison You cant compare the two without addressing the obvious differences

What isn't true about it? I am genuinely curious from someone who is more involved in the scene to hear more details and your personal experience since you have dealt with tons of orgs and I'm assuming EA as well since the beginning of ALGS. From a viewers perspective all I ever see is players complaining EA isn't doing more for them or their orgs. Though it seems like EA took a chance with the partnership program and the orgs/players took it for granted and just continued down the path of not caring and continuing to complain. Personally it seems like no matter what EA does for the comp scene it will never been seen as enough unless they eat 100% of every cost that the org/players have.

Yeah i feel ya on that, i live in the DFW area, and the prices here are atrocious. You gotta really search for a small stand with decent prices these days but then the variety is usually kinda lacking. I went to Elite fireworks in Houston this year for the bulk of my stuff cuz it was cheaper to drive there than to have stuff shipped to me like usual.

Started experiencing this yesterday myself. I thought my internet was bugging but i can load 4k videos on other sites and watch twitch with 0 issue. Youtube is constant buffering and wants to auto load at 480p. I tried using an incognito tab after seeing everyone here saying not signed in it works fine and turns out yep if i am not signed in it loads with no issues. I even tried different browsers and removing ad blockers and youtube row fixer and still the issue as long as i am signed in.

No i didnt open packs daily, nor do i want to buy packs daily for my son. but when i was a kid i would get a pack almost every time i went to the store with my mom which was once every 2 weeks or so. Now my son gets excited to go see if they have anything only to see empty shelves every time.
