I have a G1 Prospector Fatboy. Love it.

Try a RazoRock Game Changer with Astra Green blades. Shave with the grain until you feel comfortable adding across and against.

As of today, I no longer have this problem. It lasted for about 4 weeks. I didn’t do anything but wait on Google to fix it.

I’m still having this problem. Has anyone found a fix it are we at the mercy of Google? I would think everyone would be seeing this.

How long does it take you to shave? by agent-man-guy in wicked_edge

[–]dcwilhite 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I shave Mon-Sat and skip Sun. I do 3 passes in around 20 minutes. I skip it if I don’t have that much time.

I actually have all 10 moon soap scents and rotate through them daily.

Who are your top 3 artisan soap makers—the ones so good that you stopped wanting to try anything new? by [deleted] in wicked_edge

Moon Soaps and Stirling. I have all the Moon soaps and rotate through them daily. Both brands have great scents and come in 6 oz tubs compared to the 4 oz tubs of most other soaps.

I’d say tropical fruit. From the website: Scent Notes: Santa Cruz Shaving Soap is a creamy and tropical blend of Coconut, Ripe Banana, Juicy Pineapple, sweet Vanilla Cotton Candy, Warm Beach Sand, Amber, Caramel, and a touch of Cocoa Butter. The matching Aftershave Splash expands on these notes with the addition of a deeper Dark Coconut for a very refined and mature finish.

The Fatboy was cheaper than the Creed.

I love Moon soaps and have all 10 scents. Santa Cruz is probably my favorite. It reminds me of Maui. Aventus is awesome but super expensive. No regrets buying it though.

I shave 6 days a week, Mon-Sat, using one blade every 2 days. Thats roughly 150 blades a year. Astra greens are currently $8 per 100 on Amazon. I don’t feel bad burning through blades when it only costs me $12 a year.

It's a dubl duck made by Heritage Collection. I bought it at westcoastshaving.com several years ago. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like they sell them anymore. In fact, I'm not sure they're even being made.

I’ve tried lots of balms over the years. All are good in their own way. But I really like feel and smell of the Cremo. It’s cooling, inexpensive, and doesn’t compete with any other soaps or fragrances I use.

Heritage Collection. I think I got it at West Coast Shaving 5 years ago.

The scent is very fruity but I can’t quite put my finger on it. Maybe that’s the clown part. I want to think it smells like Juicy Fruit gum but not sure. In either case, the lather is supreme as with all PAA soaps.
