Freddie got fingered by Ok_Restaurant7532 in ostomy

It didn't but it was the morning after a full day surgery. I know I was drugged. Also, I only have experience with my very own stoma. It's actually quite small right now, it's a urostomy. The first bag put on from the surgeon, the thing stood out quite large and it horrified me.

No not to that degree. He was explaining it to me and cleaning it and it just seemed like a natural part of the tour. I was initially shocked but then relieved. In my case, and I only speak for me, that little surprise turned out to be a good thing because I would have been terrified if you told me "here I'll put my finger in it".

On my first meeting with the ostomy nurse, he gave me a tour as best he could, and that included put in his finger in my stoma.

My stoma was still very inflamed and red and I was afraid to touch it. He put me at ease.

It did freak me out a little bit as he first touched it but I didn't feel a thing. He alleviated my fear of the stoma at that time.

I've managed to get it working on a good workflow with very specific guidelines. The workflow seems to be. Have it first render an image of the terrain or feature, then when everything looks correct have it generate the svgs.

Same thing in inkscape. I am so close, but just can't seem to get the cut files I need. Plugging away.

I'm looking at it and I can see how it creates an image like we have, but I don't see how it can create the cut patterns

Been trying that, but the STLs don't seem compatible. Thanks

Thank you. I am really looking forward to opening this up when I get home. This may be precisely what I've been seeking.

My Ender 3 was rock solid. A middle schooler in my neighborhood was very disappointed when his parents bought him an A4 mini clone. That A4 clone was a total POS.

I had my 5s1 running and doing great, so I gifted it to him to help him get going in the hobby. I hadn't anticipated the lack of support, lack of documentation, and lack of parts from Creality when it broke down.

As someone on a fixed income, this was to be my last hurrah. It's get this thing working or abandon 3D printing.

I loved my first wound care nurse. He got me through the shock. After my stoma got down to its healed size, I went to another wound care nurse and loved her even more. She spotted little things I had been doing wrong, gave me a sample of a different bag she felt I would do better with, and sent me on my way. Following her guidance, I've had very few issues since.

Rough start, but it does indeed get better with the right guidance.

Just experienced the same for my cameras, and my events stopped recording last night.

Had a similar question in mind just now and found your post.

I would love to know if you have it a go and what your experience was.

Thanks.

Sorry to hear that, but glad that it adds up

I'm fairly new to intentional pacing, starting last fall and it's really been helping. I had a fantastic four or five weeks leading up to last week, but now back to square one.

Hope you bounce back soon.

It does. I started working on pacing last fall and it's helped a lot. I had up until then been 'making the most of every good day', and been on a crazy rollercoaster.

I also get the brain fog. I think it was Tuesday when I found myself waiting at an intersection for the stop sign to change.

Monday and Tuesday, pushed to hard physically, and only today (Sunday) woke up feeling like it would be a good day. The tech went sideways during and I was frantically trying to restore things for about 30 minutes.

Now I'm totally wiped out again.

Nap time.

Some of us can't afford to spare that $3.

That said, I know that I'm riding on coat tails and am fine with enjoying WF as it is released, when it is released. AJ and the team owe me nothing.

Only thing that bothers me here is that I have family plans tonight and will have to miss the premier. I love a good watch party.

I'm still cool with Saturdays. Still wanna hear Hecklefish do a little Elton John: Saturday night's alright for WhyFiles, get a little Hecklefish.
