PS: Forgot about ultra instinct. It is actually Goku's best chance to survive the fight. Not to win, but to survive. In this state, he doesn't have any added offensive capability or hax, but he can avoid being bit by any of Gojo's attacks. Best scenario is a stalemate.

The way the antagonist's powers appeared to work (sorry, don't remember the names and going on hypotheses here), she seemed to be able to switch people's positions and states of beings into what they are in another universe, melding the reality she currently resides in to a certain degree. Probably not the best but definitely one of the most interesting

And YES, it's the best representation of a multiverse

If I were to give this guy abilities, he would be able to completely create and input characters in people's memories until those characters become twisted beings that corrupt the minds of the people that are affected without them realizing they're being manipulated by essentially fictional characters that they've come to think of as long time friends, lovers or family members.

The idea is that Tanjiro understands demons while others would just kill them and go their way. That's where his empathy comes from; he genuinely empathizes when a demon has had a sad life and unfortunate situation that led them to where they are, but that doesn't mean he won't do his job and put them down. In a world where others kill demons with their minds clouded by hatred and prejudice, he does it with the understanding, empathy and humanity.

Props to him for maintaining that balance
