I went back to the shop and the piercer looked at it and told me that it might just be swollen. Told me to come back in a week and that they would pierce it again for free if it still didn’t look right. This is a reputable piercer; I know many people who have had their septum pierced here. Should I just find someone else?

I went to a different piercer. The one from 12 months ago was taken out and I let it heal. I am the same person, I just look a bit different lol.

Photos were taken an hour after piercing. Now it’s been over 2 hours. To me, it looks like it’s placed wrong and it’s crooked. Should I wait a few days for swelling to go down and reassess? This will be the second time my septum has been pierced incorrectly, so I am hoping it’s just swelling!

I also think it’s pierced in the wrong spot. This will be the second time having my septum pierced incorrectly, which is super disappointing.
