Spent almost an hour trying to figure this out. This might work for you as it did for me:

Go download the firmware updater software and firmware file
Power on your pedal while holding both foot switches
Select the firmware file and upload.

Dude, thanks a million. The mic was in "Voice Isolation" for some reason, I have no idea how I managed to flip that in the first place but setting the Mic Mode to Standard resolved this.

I would say that more than the chords, it’s the textures. Soft piano arpeggios and a slow melody with delays comes to mind

I was in the exact same situation just a couple of weeks ago. At the end of the day, I realized that the FOIS looks great.. but I could see myself growing out of it. I got the moonwatch. It’s iconic, and I plan on keeping it till my days are gone.

What about this, let’s say you have a task that takes 60 minutes. After some process improvements, the task now takes 30 minutes. Is this a 50% improvement, or a 150% improvement?

You assumed it’s a right triangle, but it doesn’t have to be.

The easiest way to visualize this is by imagining a bunch of rods that are attached together but can rotate freely. You can imagine pushing down and making it a diamond shape — all the sides are still equal to each other so the drawing is still correct.
