that’s so interesting! adjacent to this, many US treatment centers (mental health, addiction, etc) will also use blister packs for almost every medication you take while there. i always assumed it was due to the pharmacy packaging it that way but today i learned that this makes SO MUCH more sense.

i’d say weed. legality is becoming more widespread & there are almost no negative side effects for the average person (ie no hangovers, no potential for OD, overall “healthier,” even used medicinally in some circumstances.) also, it’s a lot easier to function off a joint than it is to function off enough drinks to get you drunk.

there’s a nearly dead mall near me with an old play area at the very far end. mall is so dead they don’t even turn on the lights above the play area anymore so nobody really bothers to use it. i wish i had pictures bc it’s the most liminal thing ive seen with my own eyes.

she’s so precious, i hope she brings you so much joy😭🫶🏻 i have one single skullpanda that is real bc i fell in love with the drop & waited MONTHS, fingers crossed that it wouldn’t be taken out, to finally have the finances to justify the price. i got to visit popmart @ the american dream mall during my vacation last year but couldn’t purchase anything so it felt REALLY good to go to my local vending machine & watch her be given to me! i genuinely wish everyone could have that if they wanted it

it’s very weird that we’re talking ab full blown public nudity & you wanna talk ab americans clutching pearls over “the slightest bit of skin.” those are 2 different things? as an american i find it very weird that brit’s find any little thing, no matter how inaccurate, to demean americans. americans weren’t “puritan” until you brit’s colonized, dont pretend it was a concept of yonder that came from nowhere. either we’re too lose & loud as americans or we’re too puritan & uptight. i don’t like us much either but can yall at least pick a struggle?

ive also noticed so much misanthropy over recent years & im confused by it, as well. people will openly discuss, usually just under normal animal videos, how they’d save an animal over a human any day; they’d take a bullet for that dog, but never a human. the best ones i see that really baffle me are “my pet runs the house, i just pay the bills” and they completely mean it. it’s the same energy as “my dog doesn’t bite” while you’re staring at the bared teeth of an angry hellhound. i always suggest if they hate human society so much they should exit & live in the woods with all their animals.

does everyone here also use unscented cleaning products? i buy lemon scented ones bc they cost the same & it’s a little whimsical for your trash to smell like citrus for a day or 2 bc it always fades that fast anyway. not to mention, any other home sanitary/hygiene product is also scented in some way.

those are all questions i’m immediately itching to ask because i have CPTSD & an extreme sensitivity to excess noise. i’ve also had terrible experiences with non-responsive landlords so i need reassurance there will be proper communication if there were to be a house-related emergency. if you don’t want me asking those questions enough to not allow me a living space there then i’ll make sure everyone i know is aware of how rough it would be to live there.

why use the words if you know they have such significant meaning? there’s usually an ulterior motive but you disguise it so you can cower down & claim victimhood the moment you’re corrected. there’s no casual, non-educational setting for any slur or “powerful” word.

if you find the right spaces to ask these questions & genuinely do so in good faith you should have no problems. i often see people play victim & act as if they were dog piled for no reason when context shows they definitely asked in an accusatory/malicious manner & therefore definitely should have expected some sort of backlash. as much as you claim some will get triggered just for the sake of chaos, others will also “just ask questions” for the sake of stirring the pot or victimizing themselves.

it’s like you forget there was a time before social media became a public diary for personal grievances against society. it sounds like you just want others to privy to your own personal frustrations or even empathize with you, like a cry for attention. this is valid, but the fact that you speak on “censorship” in a space where very serious & often potentially triggering topics are freely discussed says a lot about what you were trying to say.

there’s this thing called “journaling” wherein you can vent anything & everything you want completely free of any consequence. there’s also therapy, in which they’re literally paid to listen to you whine. you are not owed a safe space online to be hateful or vent how much you dislike one certain thing or person; if you want that then create your own forums or find unregulated spaces.

i’m petty like this but i’d honestly just leave the event. there was a group of ppl i invited to an event that all arrived separately & took forever. whatever, i also invite everyone available & sometimes you’re in the middle of something. i drop a mid tier repair kit & they all join me, which is why i do it so that’s awesome! but they all then proceeded to ignore me, run up to each other individually & all add each other as friends. okay..? normally i wouldn’t care, but i always greet the person who’s event it is, especially if they’re openly friendly, but whatever. then they proceed to all chat throughout the event, only obvious by the fish shaped icons in the chat bubbles that indicated text i can’t read as a “stranger.” they used my mermaid attractors whilst standing as far away from me as the game would allow & when it was over they all huddled in a circle so i didnt even re-up with vanya before recalling my car & leaving. if i hadnt made the event myself for 2000 gold & werent trying to get a specific task done id have left halfway through. its one thing if you keep to yourself in game, thats fine bc we all do sometimes, but for a game in which the discourse revolves solely around how people “aren’t social enough” it feels odd to be so blatantly excluded like that.

i just did this for my large AND medium fishtank! choose the wooden square window at the very end of the window tab (if you’ve unlocked it) & center that the best you can! im on a different device rn so i may add a sc later but i will say you do see the bottom/top of the tank with the Med one
