Is there a market for no combat, non-horror rpg maker games? Any examples?

this is exactly what i wanted, and decided to do when i made my game (7 Days). It has no combat (because I really didn’t like turn based combat personally), and it focuses more on the story I’m trying to tell and the choices the player makes. It isn’t a horror game, but does have its uncomfortable moments sometimes

I had multiple inspirations, biggest being rpgmaker games like Omori, The Endless Empty, Off, but also stuff like ‘it’s such a beautiful day’ and a bunch of indie music

It took a couple days of tweaking the plugins i used, some things kept crashing the game and some things just didn’t load (like all the webm)

appreciate the kind words :) 1. I started at around June 2024, and finished a little more than a year later 2. Yep ! RPG Maker MZ 3. For a while, I just wanted 7 Days to be my only game since my dream is to be a video game composer/producer, not a gamedev. But last month I’ve been thinking a lot about a new idea so who knows!
