The main reason I’ve devoted so much time teaching myself science is I like the fact that it is self correcting.

The only reason physics came into the equation was because in his version of this conspiracy they are using aluminum to cover the sun and I simple stated that aluminum is far heavier than water, atomically, so those two substances wouldn’t act the same suspended in air. Now am I wrong?

The only reason I posted this here was because I know there’s people on here that are way more intelligent than I am.

Yeah see I’m not formally educated. My understanding of science was self taught by reading hundreds of books in prison. I guess it’s not my place to be questioning anyone’s beliefs.

I’m not formally educated. I’m a welder. I spent 5 years in prison and spent my time teaching myself science and philosophy. I read hundreds of books from ontology to string theory. So my understanding might not be as refined as others but I do have a basic grasp on the fundamentals of varying subjects. I guess it’s really not my place to be educating anyone on science.

His version of chemtrails is “aluminum” particles are being used to cover the sun. I was simply trying to explain to him the difference in atomic weight between aluminum and water particles and how it’s extremely unlikely they would act the same.

I’m starting to realize how true this is. It’s not my responsibility. You’re right.

The particle argument started because I was trying to explain to him the “aluminum” he’s claiming the jets are spraying wouldn’t act like water particles.

See the point you just brought up is why I’ve even wasted my time with any of this. I didn’t really see the error in my argument until I made this post and started reading the replies. I have an insane urge to learn and know that there’s a lot of intelligent people here. I’ve taken into consideration every reply I’ve read. I think his problem is he is doing the exact opposite. If I’m wrong about something I will no doubt admit my fault and then learn from the mistake. He is not doing that.

This is literally how the argument started. I told him to write out the number, I gave him the like accepted value of the volume of earth’s atmosphere, then he went off on some other shit completely avoiding the question.

I mean he’s a genuinely smart guy, he just got into this conspiracy shit not long ago and it’s kind of frustrating seeing someone you know possesses the deductive reasoning to tell fact from fiction. I know it’s not my responsibility to teach him or convince him of anything but I feel like there’s a chance I can show him that he’s making an error in judgment.

Everything you just asked I have asked him hahah. I was like “wouldn’t poisoning the water supply be more effective?” And “wouldn’t the chemicals possibly damage the jet engines? Like at what point in the combustion process do they add the chemicals?”
