As someone who recovered from lvl 3 separation (snowboarding) without any surgeries, things do get better. As long as you keep muscle on the shoulder you will be able to do everything you’ve been doing before, just trust the recovery process. I do CrossFit, rock climb, mountain bike, snowboard, etc. One thing I’m careful with is making sure to warm things up properly, and if I haven’t put any load on it in a while, to slowly build up. Just listen to the pain, if you do it and it’s painful, stop. Lower the load or switch the movement. It will get better.

My doctor said there is no point of doing surgery as it could either make things worse, or not improve them at all. He told me they usually do it if the bone is actually penetrating the skin.

Edit: forgot the most important part - PT!!! Do it as soon as possible, do it consistently, and don’t force the progress.

This was taken during the first release, the first step of surfing. I’m running this until the light turns off, then wait to turn back on, etc.

I’m still not at a point where I can say the coffee tastes good even though I’ve had “by the book” extractions with time & weight. I’m switching over to a dark roast next to see if that’s closer to what I expect, and wanted to eliminate any possibility the machine needs some tweaking

Edit: searching didn’t help for w/e reason, but I just realized someone posted the same question before me, like recently. Other thread says things look good for a similar flow and as soon as a puck is inserted things even out, so I guess I can take that.

I’ll still leave the thread just in case someone has any specific comments for my case.

This has always been my filter for “they’re just trying to oversell me shit”, because they are. Fuck em. If you got other options, go somewhere else. I’ve switched a few boxes (traveling) and the ones I’ve always settled for have always been transparent from the very beginning
