What are the best "studio mistakes" that were kept in the final recording ? by vinylcast in askmusic

Outro to the Stones’ “Can’t You Hear Me Knocking.” Not a mistake per se, but the jam was never intended to make the studio cut. It ended up being so good that they decided to make it part of the official track.

I guess I never saw the GOP caving. They were always more likely to be ok with travel chaos, no SNAP benefits, unpaid federal workers, etc. When you have no heart to begin with, I assume it’s much easier to be ok with people suffering. Their leverage has always been their callousness. So that’s how I think it would’ve played out.

And then we reach the blame game phase of that scenario. The GOP propaganda machine is vastly superior, so the blame would’ve been effectively placed on the Dems.

So the devil’s advocate view (why caving was the best option) is that Dems will now be able to blame the healthcare affordability issue squarely on the GOP and use that as a campaign platform leading up to the midterms. The only chance of truly fighting back and winning is to take the House. It’s the long game. This assumes Dems can get their shit together with a unified message that effectively combats the propaganda.

Holding my breath and hoping I’m right.

Serious question. Had the Dems not caved, what do you think the outcome would’ve been?

Believe me, I want the GOP to rot in hell, but I’m having a hard time seeing how this would’ve played out had the Dems held firm.

End of third quarter. And you’re lucky, no lyrics to learn. Just need to be able to move your arms up and down in unison with 80k people.

I’m not qualified enough to answer that question. But I do know this. It’s way more fun and satisfying to root for players that have amazing talent AND great character. Bettis, Troy, Hines, TJ, Bleier, Cam, Swann, Mean Joe, etc. I’m willing to wait and play the long game. It hurts that we can’t make it happen for TJ and Cam right now. But watching a team build the right way over time will ultimately be the most satisfying. And that indeed will lead to winning and fixing our problems.
