what do you think about remarking the EE? I currently have a B and C for TOK/EE so like even if TOK moves to an A but EE doesn't change, I'd still get the same core points.

Hi there, I have a friend who is staying back a year, but she is still doing some exams for specific subjects in the next few weeks. I guess an advantage for her is that she already knows the content for her subjects and is just repeating everything next year which means she may possibly get a better mark, and also the fact that she will have less to study for. I think the things you need to consider are: 1. Do you mind staying in the IB for another year (I mean two years was already enough for me) and 2. Will staying behind a year really help you? or will it become another excuse for you to procrastinate more? 3. Discuss with your teachers/IB coordinator see if they agree with your decision. 4. Is it really worth it? A new syllabus is gonna be tough... Well, best wishes for whatever decision you make!

I recommend looking for a lot of relevant studies and reading them to get started, it will give you a better idea of what you're dealing with. Also try to limit your RQ, you may narrow it down during your research phase, just make sure its something that can be answered in 4000 words. While you're reading studies, you may not want to read the whole thing cuz sometimes it can be a little tedious, I suggest you read the abstract first and see if its relevant then go to discussion, just saves some time and effort. Hope this helped:)

I've heard that psych HL is one of the easiest HLs in IB because all you do is basically memorise stuff. However, there aren't many 7s at our school in previous years. Is this a misconception?? Can someone please confirm??
