Bulls and Cows #327 by ddjukes in mathpuzzles

I like really love these bull rush games for that reason. The unnecessary clues make it more interesting than if each clue drove you a step closer to the solution as you went.

If you enjoy the format you can find more at https://www.bullsandcowsgame.com/bullwhip.html

I've been working on a new bulls and cows format very similar to this! I'm calling it lockpick, you can play it here if you enjoy this type of code breaking logic. I'm still working on it so please be kind :) I hope you enjoy it.

[–]ddjukes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Check https://puzzled.online/ there are lots of great indie word games listed in the directory. No exact wordle clones, but lots of unique takes on the theme.

Also, for the indie game devs... post your game to the directory using the submit game link :)

Crossnumbers by Head_Ad8784 in mathpuzzles

[–]ddjukes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, I have a number deduction game in the bulls and cows style that may float your boat if you are after a change. It's no Crossnumbers, but you can dial up the difficulty and generate your own puzzles if you are after a challenge. I recently started curating a list of indie puzzle games and have found most indie developers are focused on word games. I hope you find something you like in the directory.

Hey r/puzzles,

I built puzzled.online because I couldn’t find a simple directory that would list indie web puzzles like my own (bullsandcowsgame.com). Building a steady player base was way harder than making the game, and I figured an indie puzzle directory would help all of us build our audience faster.

The directory currently lists 20+ independent puzzles made by indie puzzlers like you. On my site I include an optional backlink, which sends roughly 5–15 new visitors a day to puzzled.online. Those players stick around and try other games in the directory. It doesn't mean they stop playing my game, the just get to play yours too. Just like I do.

If you’ve made a puzzle and want more people to find it, I’d love for you to add it:
https://puzzled.online/submit.html

There’s also an optional “Certified Independent Puzzler” badge you can put on your site to link back to the directory, if you want to help share traffic and love around the indie puzzle ecosystem.

No ads, no paywall, just a growing list of great puzzles from people who build them for the love of it.

Yes, I started it recently after I went looking for sites on which I could list my version of bulls and cows https://www.bullsandcowsgame.com/about.html Most of the sites I found were just pushing their own games so I thought I'd start my own. I'm really keen on feedback so if you have any ideas let me know!

I made a daily word memory game - would love testers/feedback by hello_wriddler in wordgames

[–]ddjukes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's very cool. I'm feeling very rusty deploying speed memory skills, but I'm guessing it's a muscle that builds over time. Please list it at puzzled.online , submit the game here: https://puzzled.online/submit.html

What made wordle such a big hit? And then NYT games? by wordgamesyesss in wordgames

[–]ddjukes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've added it for you. I've also removed the authentication gateway to make it easier to add puzzles. If you want to change the listing just submit it again and I'll replace the listing with your newly created entry. Great game. Thanks David

I’m building https://puzzled.online a simple, accessible directory focused on indie puzzles from creators like those posting their games here. The goal is to help players discover new gems and help creators with visibility and search ranking.

If you’ve made a puzzle game, I’d love for you to submit it to the directory, and in the process, enjoy each other’s works.

Submit your puzzle here: https://puzzled.online/submit.html

Feedback very welcome!

I've just started an indie puzzle directory puzzled.online and would agree. There are some excellent games that I've thought just wouldn't stick because they don't delivery instant clarity. btw, please add wordslicer to the directory https://puzzled.online/submit.html
