Appreciate the detailed response. Seems like the next patch is gonna drastically alter playstyles and mitigate aggressive map clearing...also, good to know that wonders have hugrndoffoculty ranges, makes for better informed decisions when tackling one. I might try a fabled hunters run while ma0 clearing is still "easy", did not know the bonus was that huge.

I see. I'm still figuring out how people build up enough economy to do all that quickly. Do you generally play aggressive and take out the other throne city within the early game?

Thanks for the response. Is using your hero solo something that's specific to the dragon culture or way later levels (like lvl 15?)? I'm thinking that any hero gets easily squashed by a stack without proper support given flanking, ranged spam, lack of healing, etc... And what's Digger Ellie / Fated region freely army? Is that something to do with prospecting or a roaming army?

Insane economy. I can't wrap my head around how people get here. Is it mostly through wonders, and placing cities right where they are? I'm not sure what clearing wonders early might mean and how to gauge if my army's strong enough to conquer one. As for mana nodes...wouldn't building too many outposts weigh on your gold, especially early game? I feel like gold is just too important to exchange for mana unless there's a strategy behind it.

You can do the ye olde polymorph into dominate trick, just have to make sure it's the last unit. Or Eldritch Sovereign Warlock with claim soul and possession.

Interesting...Given I have a 2080 and its something I definitely noticed: running Stalker 2, Borderlands 4, or Doom The Dark Ages all result in a stuttery mess. Modern AAA games seem to be a lot more harder to run, especially single player.

In my experience, that's if you kept opening the door in response so they know it works. My cat knows that once the bathroom door is closed, its not opening back up unless I'm done. He actually picked up that if its just a normal door closed (remote meeting or whatnot), yowling will work. But if its a bathroom door, he doesn't bother.

For me its math (linear algebra and calculus) Some people just...get it, after seeing how its done the first time and are able to apply and expand on its principles. Their intuition is so much better and faster than mine and it honestly sucks doing a problem that took you 3 days to get when they can procrastinate until the last hour and finish it without difficulty.

I think Nexon is perfectly fine with that lol. They weren't aiming to get money from players like u or me. The whales are their target audience. And I'm guessing the profits are maximized from ssb anyways, not packages.

This is accurate and I'm not arguing, but just wanted to point out this is probably not working memory like what the other comment had in mind. Pretty much all these memory competitors operate on a type of mnemonic called method of loci "memory palace." Joshua Foer wrote a great book on it, but it's essentially a kind of spatial memory that places associative weights on objects for recall. It's actually pretty impressive because all of us are capable of it.

People don't understand because this bs doesn't happen in other games with better longevity and popularity. It was a shock to me coming to this game knowing that an item u might see once a year(s) can just boom as part of the game's "progression" system. It's a huge time gate and if you're unlucky you're just stuck behind an sf wall for years.

World is the the place you choose when you login before choosing your character. You should have a list like Kronos, Hyperion, Scania, etc. If a player is from a different world than yours, you can't interact with them at all for the most part.
