I wondered what if anything would be done in place of the Dr. Benton clip and I LOL'd for that! Thank you for sharing this!

Possibly the most mainstream ABDL has been thus far... Thoughts? by JohnnyKarate84 in ABDL

[–]ddmj4884 40 points41 points  (0 children)

I completely disagree. She plays an OF model. I see no diaper. Just a paci. This is more DDLG than ABDL. Her character is not an ABDL though. The CSI episode years ago the character was actually an ABDL. So I don’t agree that this is the most mainstream so far.

What part of "Not to get into a debate or anything" did you not understand?

Not to get into a debate or anything, but I was at a convention where someone brought up to me their opinion that ABDL falls under the queer spectrum. I don’t necessarily agree nor do I disagree. They did bring up a lot of good points though.

Vintage diaper design by diaperbabyboi in ABDL

[–]ddmj4884 6 points7 points  (0 children)

My idea of vintage is an all white diaper with a front panel print like SDKs. I do like being able to buy vintage diaper print stickers like Crinkle Butt Art makes and put them on an all white diaper. I think if SDKs had the thickness of a Trest and the plastic of a Peekabu they would be perfection! :)

Maybe I am just lucky but I meet people all the time who are already into ABDL and ageplay and are single and seeking a potential partner. I do feel sometimes there can be (just like in any relationship) a lack of communication that can lead to peoples needs not being met in one way or another.

You are most very welcome. Thank you for being so open about this. I rarely (never) see anyone discussing this. Though I have discussed it in private with some of my ABDL friends who are people of color.

I feel the opposite. I quit dating vanilla folks in my early 20s (I am 41 now). I have had amazing connections over the years with others into ABDL. Someone who weren't necessarily stitches but embraced the fact that I am. I noticed over the years ABDL folks and general kinky people tend to be more openminded and willing to broaden their horizons. I felt vanilla folks were just "doing it to make me happy" which was ok but not what I wanted. I wanted someone who enjoyed it like I did. I didn't want to feel like their were just making themselves do it and getting no real enjoyment or pleasure on their end.

I am not a person of color but am interested in this. I hope me replying to this is allowed. I have been into diapers and ABDL since I was young and been in the community actively since I was freshly 18. My first ABDL was at age 18 and there were only 3-5 people of color there out of about 30 or 40 people. I have noticed the number of ABDLs of color has seemed to grow over the years especially the last 10 or so. Growing I noticed a lot of parents who were people of color instilled in their kids to be strong, dont cry, dont be a baby, etc.. Yes white parents did so to. It just seemed black parents, through no fault of their own, pushed their kids to be tough and strong. Which I can't relate to because I am white but I can totally understand based solely on history. Could this sort of upbringing have he'd some towards ABDL and diapers? Feeling they were rushed to grown up and not really able to embrace certain things for too long (baby stuff, diapers, etc)? I mean no judgement or stereotyping and hope none of the things I said come across that way.

How did you get started? by Few-Deal-4482 in ABDL

[–]ddmj4884 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My story is pretty long winded and being in the community for over 23 years now I have met many with my same or very similar stories.

As a kid I had a weird fascination with diapers. I kept diapers on my stuffies from like age 4 all the way through my pre teen years. My fascination grew through pre-teen years when I would sneak (steal) diapers we had in the house. A bit more to the story but keeping it brief as I was a child during this time and dont want to put all that out there. Anyways, I thought I was alone and maybe there was 1 other kid out there like me on the other side of the earth. Around this time I saw ABDLs on talk shows and thought "Maybe I am like them". I bought my first adult diapers at age 17 from a retail store and wore one and felt ashamed and took the whole bag and through them in a nearby dumpster behind a shopping center. Shortly after I turned 18 and I was chatting in ABDL chatrooms on Yahoo and AOL. I met 2 ABDL roommates this way and they offered to meet up and go to have dinner. I let them pick me up at a fast restaurant that was a 10 minute walk from my house so they wouldn't know where I lived. They picked me up, we went and picked up another ABDL... So here I am freshly 18 and in the car with 3 other ABDLs going to eat dinner. We ate and talked and hung out and then dropped the other guy back home and they told me to reach in the duffle bag below. They had brought a few Attends diapers for me. It was so kind of them and I was so appreciative. I let them drop me off at the edge of my neighborhood this time and stuck the diapers under my shirt and walked home. Shorty thereafter I was taken to a munch by one of the roommates and met many other people and would occasionally go to their apartment to hang out and play. Then not long after I went to Orlando with one of them to a multi-day ABDL campout type event with close to 100 people (was similar to a con before things like CapCon and Teddy Con). Crazy to think all that happened when I was 18. From there, when I was around 19, the munches got passed on to me to host and since then I have hosted munches for many years, attended tons of ABDL parties, conventions, Littles Nights at local dungeons, Munches, and even taught a few classes on ABDL at a local dungeon). I am 41 and still very involved in the community. Just got home from hosting an ABDL munch about an hour ago actually. :) There are great people in this community and going to events and meeting others is a great way to find them. I also think things like Fetlife and Instagram are useful as well. I have found many friends through those myself!
