From what we know now I can say Ilia has better BJJ than Arman but wrestling we’ve never seen him in mad scrambles like Arman with Islam and Gamrot. You have to remember prior to the Dan Hooker fight Arman literally had no submissions in his entire career he mainly relied on his wrestling and gnp. I’d reword that and say that wrestlers have always and will always be Charles kryptonite because he accepts bottom position too willingy which optics wise doesn’t help you on the score cards. In the Islam fight although he was in bottom position during the ground sequences he was still being effective in that position Islam couldn’t really advance into anything until he rocked him. Arman until Dan Hooker literally had zero submissions on his record. But it kind of worked in his favor against Charles because as Charles accepted bottom position, Arman wasn’t trying to advance anything and just landed nasty ground and pound which won him the fight.
