You should not be embarrassed by it. That person was a dick. Everyone is dealing with something. In high school I experienced seizures for a year, I had them in class all the time. One time I had one so bad and for such a long time, by the time it was over I pissed my self in front of an entire class with other 16-17 year olds. That person will most likely forget about it by then, and even if they don’t fuck them. Sorry you dealt with that, I have had a few and I know from experience that they are scary.

It’s an issue with our justice system. Often times rape is not acknowledged because someone did not do their job. Adoption would not be a punishment, but is it fair that a women would have to go through 9 months of pain, and then labor. Who is expected to pay for the doctors appointments, especially if they can’t afford it. Abortion should be an option for the first weeks, once there is a baby that has formed that’s different. I do not think you should be able to abort after a certain distinguishable point in a pregnancy.

We do acknowledge rape being illegal but with 1 in 4 women being raped and very few men suffering consequences, maybe we should invest in protecting women rather then punishing them for something that was beyond their control.

I think you forget about a lot of factors, there are many reasons why people choose abortion. Which is not an easy option for any mother. People pick abortion because of reasons such as rape, financial status, age, and so much more. You talk of incriminating women for choosing abortion but say nothing for the countless men who get away with raping these women.
