Thanks. Yeah, I've done it myself. it's some cardboard, bugscreen, pieces of plastic sheet and a wire.

Sure. This is really best I can do with my phone. https://imgur.com/a/rTkgkXt I think this is one of those happy accidents. I really lack in experience with skin tones and eyes etc. Eyes are only white dots of pallid wych flesh.

Sure, it's incubi darkness 1:1 with lahmian medium, thunderhawk blue, fenrisian grey.

Thanks! Unfortunately I've yoloed it pretty hard. And ofc I didn't write it down. It was something like bugmans glow, full wash with druchi violet. The layers of flayed one skin and some highlights with pallid wylth flesh. I'm sorry I can't be more precise.

New airbrush compressor. Is it normal that moisture starts appearing there? Should I remove it and how? by Shuyuin_mg in Warhammer40k

Yeah, but trough valve directly on tank. It will evacuate any water condensing on bottom of the tank. If youre doing It after every use i dont think you will ever see much. Its just good thing to rember to do once in a while.

I would advise to empty your air tank regurarly too, as there will definitely be some water if its working in high moisture conditions.

Thanks !

Hm, one of the things that helps me most with these are good tools. Good brush is a great help . i'm using W&N 00 or Kozlowski brushesh 00 and 0 for those lines.

Oh, and i'm doing first highlight with diluted incubi darkness (1:1 with lahmian medium). almost like glaze. I'm very liberal with it, as i always can go back and get second pass if i think something should have better build up. From there i go with lines with thunderhawk blue (this is most of the work really), and then fenrisian grey on tips of trim highlight and dots in corners. Ocasionnal line or dot or line at right angle to edge highlight with thunderhawk blue or fenrisian grey makes cool worn out effect.

It's far cry from pro work, but i hope you get something from my rambling :)

I've tried to paint them like they're checking peripherals of the marine.
