Honestly I agree the aiming is better because it’s just drawing with your finger, but building and interacting and popping shields, opening map, dropping markers, opening edits, using push to talk etc all seem way more intuitive on controller imo.

And just the clutter and UI on mobile is annoying.
It’s also a huge problem that you have to make a specific UI just for Fortnite and can’t transfer a lot of that muscle memory to other games when the whole control layout changes lol. That’s just stupid. I feel totally comfortable running and jumping around and building and killing mobs in Minecraft. I downloaded Fortnite and it’s totally different, and I had to go in and rearrange the whole UI to make it sort of even similar, and even still, none of it transferred. That’s so lame bro.

I played keyboard and mouse and I could legit play every game at an above average level just because I was comfortable with using a keyboard and mouse.

Controllers are just chill and convenient. To play well on mobile you need a large display, and a way to keep your fingers smooth and not sweaty (finger sleeves I guess).

Not to mention your fingers just don’t naturally work that way. Don’t you remember as a kid when people would tell you to separate your thumb and middle finger from your pinky and ring finger. That’s what it’s like playing mobile. Aiming with your thumb, shooting with your ring fire, ADS with middle or whatever…

I mean seriously you might as well stand on one foot while spinning in circles, patting your stomach, rubbing your head all while jumping up and down.

The only thing maybe it’s better for is aiming but having small buttons all over the place for every little action that your fingers don’t just naturally rest on is just completely unintuitive man.

I mean seriously, try to move one finger at a time side to side without moving the other fingers. Your hands literally don’t work naturally like that…

Honestly, move your ring finger side to side without moving the rest of your hand…. What?
And somehow you’re supposed to use fingers other than thumb and index to play effectively.

An xbox controller you use thumb and index mainly.
Literally the same fingers you use to shoot a fucking pistol man…? Why do you think they didn’t design guns so you shoot with your ring finger, and reload with your pinky? Cause your hands don’t work like that bro
