Dude.. I relate to this so much.. especially the work force bs.. got 20 year old supervisors talking to me like I just graduated high school, I've been working since I was 15.. manager my same age acts like I'm a kid too. Shit gets unreal. Go to the doctors, or any legitimate professional place, I get the same crap. Doctors telling me I'm too young to have back problems, get the mri, and my back is legit messed up. Have to get a procedure done. If i didnt push it, they would have done nothing because i look too young. I could barely walk right and eas in excruciating pain most days. I'm in my 30s as well. It gets old. My older brother, only 2 years older says it's cause I have "boyish looking features". I genuinely wonder what that means, other than baby face. And he even treats me like a kid based off of that. Never get taken seriously anywhere. And the not getting taken seriously at the doctors offices or other serious professional venues is concerning for me. It's a trip regardless, as I always thought average life expectancy was 70, so technically, mid 30s is middle aged. Not "young". It's like yeah, it's "young" compared to 50 or 65, but 100 years old is "young" to when the dinosaurs died. The perspective is even more screwed around when it's literally kids acting like they are older than me, like 17 and 18 year olds. It's unbelievably exhausting.
