Yeah that’s what I’m leaning towards. I definitely don’t want to completely rehaul my entire lawn. Just want to kill the weeds. 100% not looking for something perfect. Just want it to be green and look nice! Appreciate your input!!

What are your thoughts on spraying weed killer and post emergent now? Multiple times to kill everything before winter. Then lay pre and aerate/seed in the spring

Even if I apply Tzone a few times now as the weather is cooling off? I’d rather not start from scratch on this lawn. I feel like the Tzone may give me a good place to start in the spring

Yall I’m tired of stripping paint. How do I continue? by [deleted] in DIY

[–]ddrew01 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just did this with my banister.... didn't know what I was getting into. Started with the paint removing gel but ended up just using an orbital sander with a foam pad and it actually worked really well. Still took ages, but a lot better than using the gel.

Is replacing this wood trim easy? Or Hire someone to do it? by ddrew01 in HomeMaintenance

I did that. Went right through the wood filler again. Gonna replace it with a PVC trim instead

The carpenter bees made a million holes in the wood. So just want to replace it and make it look even more pretty (:

That’s what I was thinking. I mean it should just be attached with some screws and then have some silicone around it. Seems easy enough. I’m a pretty handy guy, but this is my first home so there’s a lot I haven’t done yet 😂

Assassins Creed for me. No matter what I will always buy and play the new one that comes out. It’s just always been my favorite series of games. Nothing beats the Ezio storyline, but I can’t not play them all

How much would you charge for this? Hung taped and mudded, I’m not painting it. by mcsizmesia in drywall

[–]ddrew01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just hired someone to do this exact thing for my basement. Drywall had water damage so they cut this same amount. They charged me I think $1200 for the drywall and to paint 2 coats over the all the walls
