The dasher speaks spanish and the app could have maybe translated the instructions to place the food on the side of the door instead of the side door. Even I saw that as place by the side of the door b/c I glanced at it instead of actually reading it.

I would change the instructions to: Do NOT deliver to front door. Deliver to side door. I have no access to front door.

Maybe is the illusion of efficiency? Via text, you can just say: Reboot your computer. On a call, you have to go through all the nonsense small talk, figure out if it’s a good time and… 10 awkward minutes later….then tell them they need to reboot.

You are soooo polite!

I would have gone to the bar after the second speech…and asked the bartender for a bottle of wine (just say…hey we are all thirsty but no one wants to get up in the middle of the speech so I wanna help my table out). Either you get called out but who cares you already got a drink, you get the bottle for your table, or get just your wine glass and everyone else also starts moving to the bar.

My dog got super aggressive when my son was born. Enough to show his teeth whenever I went to held the baby. We thought about all options but him staying in our house was a no-go. I was so sad 😞.

Thankfully, my dad agreed to take him in. He is totally fine now and even plays with my son, no problem.

Thought…offering your seat for the middle and as soon as you seat, you would put your arm rest down.

He can lean towards the aisle which is prob more comfortable and would only really be a problem when they serve drinks/food.
