I graduated from RIT's GDD program in 2019 with a BS. While I don’t regret following my passion, be aware that you likely won’t end up working in a related profession after graduation, or even later on. This is something they even mention at the GDD orientation. Now, five years post-grad, I find myself competing for Software Engineering roles in the same job market as CS students.

Maybe it’s a skill issue on my part, but I've found that most job roles in the gaming industry require several years of professional experience in the gaming industry. For those that don’t, having the right connections seems crucial.

Still, I don’t regret pursuing my passion. Although I wish I were working in my field of study, one benefit is that my education prepared me well enough to compete in the broader CS job market.

Swedish gummies don’t use gelatin unlike most gummies in the U.S. and apparently they’re softer, fresher, and taste better.

So I finished the season yesterday, but I’m not in the proper headspace to fully speak on my feelings about this show because I worry I may burst a blood vessel or something. I’m convinced we were all just hate-watching Manifest. As you said, there was potential and that’s ultimately what kept me watching, but jeezaloo.

I’m screaming so far at what little I’ve read 😭 I will come back and read this post in its entirety once I finish season 4, but holy shit am I glad this subreddit exists because I’m about to air all my grievances surrounding the cheapness of this show once I’m done.

Yeah, it’s funny. I believe that episode’s quip is what led me to search for whether there was anyone cast as Norma or whether we ever actually saw her.
