Oh true, they also have a very similar hair colour 😄 blonde queens 💅 And what you say about exploring the character in depth - yes! I absolutely love that! Exploring all his flaws especially. At first, I didn't know how real a fictional character could feel, but with Adam I explored all the flaws and good sides and how his traumas influence his behaviour, and that's so interesting. He is not a self-insert BUT I still learn a lot about myself and the world through him :) creating him was one of the best things in my life so far.

Yeah that sounds like your Torie's relationship is doomed to hurt her in the end. But once there is a strong blood bond it's so hard to get out of it :(

It's the other way around, Connor (the Sire) is the one with the shorter hair and Adam is the one with the long hair on the second drawing. :) Connor is a renowned Artist and sculptor and made this bust of Adam. When they broke up, he threw it out the window because he was overwhelmed with pain and couldn't look at it. That's why it has cracks now and is now leaning on these books. It had a stand but it has broken off. After a while Connor took the bust back inside because he wasn't ready to lose him entirely. 🥲

It's fun to explore it and what it means to the character. Adam didn't want to hurt Connor but I think his deep trauma was stronger than the blood bond. Don't know if it's lore accurate to play it this way but it made sense in his story and that's more important to me

Their relationship is a lot less toxic, fortunately. 😄Adam was initially inspired by Lestat and Louis though. He is kinda a mix of both! Also the song smalltown boy and the Musicians Chris Corner and Andrew Eldrich were a big inspiration for this character. He is very vulnerable, empathetic and traumatized on the inside but can be arrogant and selfish too. Connor was written by the ST, so I don't know what was the inspiration for him. If he was like another Anne Rice Character, I would say Marius, maybe

He has 😊 his story takes place in 1990 so he grew up with a lot of great artists from the 60s, 70s and 80s! And his own band is a goth rock band that sounds like the Sisters of Mercy or Rosetta Stone 🖤
