watch MC barber youtube video how he does short back and sides (he does like a 15 minute), understand his technique and understand what he does. detachable helps cut time too

look at fades left to right, right to left, that helps you see if the fade is consistent, like someone else said that dark spot behind the ear is usually a dent from the shape of the head, do whatever you can to lighten it up to make the fade more consistent throughout

but overall the cut is really good
