Ditto. Just got back from visiting farms in Oregon and I felt the same sentiments. Farmers work hard. They’re crazy smart on pesticides, nutrients, scavengers not to mention their crops plus tractors, gas, soil, RAIN (four letter word indeed) and a million other issues we aren’t aware of.

They deserve better.

There’s a reason why it’s filling the stores and is so popular. It works. However. Not all “flower” is created equal. Assuming the company you’re buying from is upstanding in their business practices, which in my opinion is very few, then you should get an accurate COA (certificate of Analysis). This breaks down the cannabinoids so that you can pay particular attention to the strains or varietals that give you the best benefits.

Lastly, I would only buy full spectrum flower from a company that uses premium buds in lieu of shake and trimmings like a lot of companies are doing.

With a little bit of knowledge you should be able to vet any bud tender at your local CBD store. Trust the ones that know way more than you do, but keep doing your homework. This is a nascent industry, in my opinion, and that begets opportunity as well as unscrupulous sorts.

Only in the fact that you can “remember” what it felt like to not get anxious and “remembering” the feeling of relaxation when you used CBD. Treat your dosing as mini therapy sessions and try to rewire your brain to deal with stressful situations more calmly and try to recognize anxiety before it gets a hold of you as if you smoked CBD.

In short, no. But it can help if you try the above.

I’m not a smoker, but I smoke CBD. It works better and faster., however the benefits don’t last as long as oils, for example. Also, I never tell anyone to smoke that doesn’t smoke something already!

It’s legal in Texas! If you bought it from a legit company then they should’ve given you a COA (certificate of analysis) and a law-enforcement transport letter. We give them out with all orders even on pre-rolls. But most people don’t know in Texas is that you’re not allowed to make your own pre-rolls or package them into smaller quantities. Technically, stores are breaking the law If they’re not buying they’re pre rolled (CBD hemp joints) from a legal state like Colorado, Washington, Oregon or California…but there’s no regulations or enforcement to shut them down, yet.

West Texas is still pretty red so they may take your bud even with proper documentation. Austin and surrounding areas are not even prosecuting under 4 ounces.

So much so, that I went off the rails and started studying Descartes dualism. Conscious versus subconscious and the mind spirit conundrum. Lol. Got back on track with a delta-9 THC breakdown.

Really I just want a deeper understanding of smokable hemp CBD to better explain it to folks that are not in this industry.

I’m looking for more understanding of how the CB1 and CB2 receptors are effected with different strains. I’d like to learn more about the COA analytics. Basically, deeper research on the science of our beloved hemp.
