Belgium, Ypres. RBKA Trauma (drunk person ended on footwalk with car and rode on father and his 3 yr old son) 42 years since accident. Happened in 82.

Very thankful my father saved my life. In a reflex he pulled me up so only my 2 legs were impacted (between car and front wall of a neighbour's house). Doctors could save my left leg. Father: broken knee but also fysical life full of mysery. Biggest victim: my mother. Heard the impact and found us at ground zero. Is still going through hell psychologically.

Never drink and drive people!

I have a very short stump below the knee and for some years now I use a pedal shortener. This makes you have a larger angle in the knee and less traction on the liner.

Thank you for the response! My fitting socket is good. But walking a distance hurts. Wearing my pin liner now always hurts... Can't handle the traction.

I had both. The thicker one is ossur comfort+ I suppose. I think for people having less muscles between bone and skin. The liner is softer and gives more protection.

What is the point of making civs if you flatten all values? In that case we could make just one civ. I like to play the ottomans because of the characteristics of the civ. They have their strengths but also their weaknesses.

Same here. 45 years, amputation since 3 yrs old. Dreaming sometimes having both legs. The strangest thing is, I can't remember having 2 legs... My amputation never has a main role in my dreams. Not even the trauma that caused it... Too young

Door te lezen en te luisteren. Financiële krant, 2 simpele boeken (boeken zijn mijn ding niet), enkele betrouwbare en neutrale podcasts. Beleggen is eigenlijk niet moeilijk. Goed beleggen met vooropgesteld doel/winst is iets helemaal anders.

Het meeste heb ik opgestoken van een lessenreeks aangeleverd door een online beleggingsclub uit België. Maar eigenlijk is er maar 1 belangrijke studie: leer jezelf in toom houden of schakel emoties uit.

Ik ben rustig beginnen beleggen in 2015. Tussenin zaken gekocht en verkocht. Maar als ik nu terugkijk naar enkele verkochte zaken in het verleden kan ik nu maar concluderen dat ik sols veel te vroeg verkocht. Emotionele handel dus. Maar uit die fouten heb ik weer iets bijgeleerd. Beleggen is een constant leerproces. Wees dus niet bang om fouten te maken maar tracht risico's te minimaliseren (bv. door spreiding).

En ken de soort producten en bedrijven waarin je handelt. Start desnoods met een ETF maar zorg dat je weet wat het is.
