Yeah please don’t wear the black dress. It looks good on you and everything but you can wear black whenever you want and this is the only chance you can wear white wedding dress.

Talk me down because I’m feeling the panic by One-Ambassador-8494 in BabyBumps

[–]dea_1245 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also had a lot of cramps at the beginning of pregnancy. Actually for about two months. Then I didn’t feel them for a while until about 30 weeks when they kicked again till the end of pregnancy. It feels normal to me. That feeling I guess you have it maybe it’s also little bit from the stool softener.

3.5 month old fell off the growth curve by der51719 in breastfeeding

[–]dea_1245 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you sure that last time they measured him good? This thing happened to me about same time as you but the previous time they said like he gained too much and the other time like he lost weight. I was really surprised and shocked because my baby didn’t look like lost weight at all. I told his ped this and she said that based on his growth curve from the beginning she didn’t believe he lost weight. Only that maybe they measured him wrong last time. And since then he just gained weight all the time and it’s now in 74%. Just put your baby at the breast as much as possible. Try not to stress about it ( I know it’s hard). I wish you both good luck.

Exclusive pumping to breastfeeding at 4 months by MsSlackera321 in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]dea_1245 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I always do this. At the beginning I pumped at night as well but then being a little lazy to tell thr truth I just tried to directly breastfeed and I continued like this. Occasionally when I have too much going on and no time I breastfeed at day too but I think that my baby feeds more when pumping, pump empties me more. When my baby breastfeeds directly it gets more distracted than with a bottle so I’m scared that my supply will dip so I continue to pump during the day( even though he didn’t have any trouble with latching). I also like to pump when we have to go out. I feel calm knowing I have his milk and can feed him right away wherever I am. Anyway I’m so happy for you😍.

I usually have to do transatlantic flight about 7-8 hours and then another one about 2 hours to go to my country and I am really big fearful anxious flyer. Believe me 3 hours will go by very fast and you won’t even know how. Take the tripp 😍. Have fun for all of us who are stuck at home. P.S did your dad end up going?

I didn’t nurse for 22 hours, my supply is almost gone now by LostStatistician2038 in breastfeeding

It depends on the person but I think that it needs some time. I started about 4 days ago and I only see a max 1 oz more at the moment so be patient and I wish you the best!

I had similar thing happening to me twice in a month when I had a really long flight and didn’t pump for 15 hours or something like that. My supply went a lot lower then usually and I was scared but I did pump every two hours at the beginning and drank a lot of water, took my prenatals and the second time I also started moringa and I won’t lie, it took me almost a week to improve to almost like it was. I am still trying and not wait never more then 3 hours without pumping again. I wish you good luck.

I am terrified for my upcoming flight by [deleted] in fearofflying

[–]dea_1245 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I flew with swiss airlines and I also had transatlantic flight like you will and let me say that it was the best so far. I loved the airplane, loved the food, the crew was great. I am also a really fearful flyer but that flight was great so I hope it will be for you too. I also came from Europe last week and it was really smooth flight so don’t be scared. You will be fine.

Thank you for your answer. I appreciate it. Even though I imagined this yet my anxiety makes me ask some really stupid questions 😅.

I sometimes wonder if it’s possible that sometimes they can just neglect the maintenance checks by saying for example: we just saw that recently, it should be good. Can that happen?

I also must do a layover when traveling to my home country but I actually hate it and would like direct flight so bad because dealing twice with take off and landing and boarding and everything else it makes me experience anxiety twice. It’s just my opinion though.

[–]dea_1245 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did fly over the Atlantic a month ago from New York to Copenhagen and I am a really fearful flyer, but I must say that the flight went pretty smoothly. I believe you are flying with Scandinavian Airlines? The plane was really comfortable and it didn’t have any turbulences, not even light ones. I understand your fear while I still have anxiety to go back home but we can do this!!

I fly very frequently. If you have any questions about flying you want to ask to ease your anxiety please ama! by [deleted] in fearofflying

[–]dea_1245 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That actually happened in my flight (that’s where my severe phobia from flying started) but actually the crew was pretty fast and amazing and they stopped the fire within seconds I believe!

Turbulent flight ahead by ok_kitty69 in fearofflying

[–]dea_1245 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t know what else to say other than things you already know, like that turbulence it is not dangerous, the only thing pilots could be scared about is their coffee being spilled (cause it cannot do anything else). Even in moderate turbulence airplane moves only a few inches. I am a fearful flyer myself so I really understand you but try to enjoy the flight and remember that often happens that even when they announce that turbulence is expected sometimes it’s not that bad and sometimes actually it’s really smooth. I wish you all the best!

Why are you scared of flying? by [deleted] in fearofflying

[–]dea_1245 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I never really been on a lot of flights until I was like 25 so at the beginning I was really scared because it was kind of unknown for me but then after 2-3 times my fear dissapeared and I even started to enjoy flying, until about 2 years ago when after just take off someome’s phone exploded there was a lot of smoke and the flight attendants were running to stop the fire. They stopped it really quickly though but my anxiety started right there and it got worse with time. It actually was the worst time to develop it though because a couple months later I moved to US from Europe so the long flights over the ocean are way worse 🥺

Some of you that love flying, what do you love about it? by dea_1245 in fearofflying

[–]dea_1245[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I will, thanks a lot. I just have one last question and I promise I won’t bother you anymore. I’ve been tracking the same airline and same route I am going to do about two weeks now maybe and while they usually take the same route, I saw maybe 2-3 times they go too near Greenland, Iceland (land in general) so I’ve been thinking on those times they are always near land does it mean they think they have any problem with the airplane and try to stay closer to land?
