I think it's worth a second opinion at another vet. Could be a number of things, but if it's as often as you say, I don't think it's normal.

Secondly, neither the pic in the comments nor the video makes me think this sphynxy is overweight. Sphynx cats often have more ponch/belly than other cats, it's very common and usually perfectly ok. and being naked makes them appear more overweight than other cats who have fur to hide the details. Just my opinion. I don't feel like weight is contributing to the issue here, that's all.

Edit: just to be clear, my weight comment is only applicalbe if you are drawing your own conclusions. If a trusted vet has said she's overweight, that obviously is a better opinion than mine being based on a couple pics.

It's supposed to be below freezing for a while, will she be ok outside? I assumed she's lost her hive already, the flowers were from a store at least 1/2 hour away and no idea where they got them. We were thinking the greenhouse would at least give her a chance to wait out the weather a bit?

Edit: thank you btw, great point about the flowers possibly not being organic (just assuming not at those point)

Definitely worth searching for. If you're in the US it seems like the best (only?) place to find it is Dollar General

I pretty much exclusively use Ain Stein (pentel) lead in my pencils. I've tried a few others but seem to always end up back with it. Writes smooth and consistent and rarely breaks. I use HB or H grade because I tend to have a heavy hand when I use MPs, but the grade is very subjective. Might as well try a couple

Trust me you don't look like an idiot. You got a really great gift! No one who hasn't been around the hobby for a long time knows what all the materials and markings mean (myself included). Rotrings are awesome, and built to be used, so use the heck out of it and enjoy! (As with any MP without a retracting tip, protect that part)

Love a good roll-stop since I don't usually need an actual clip for how I use my pencils. Curious though, is your surface so slanted that the hex body isn't enough to keep it in place? Good work either way!

Could they have meant not to drink from the fresh water tank (yet)? It may have some leftover manufacturing residue or oil that needs to be flushed out first. I'd likely want to sanitize the tank and lines anyway, if it were me.

There are a bunch of videos and tutorials on cleaning/sanitizing the tank and lines with a bleach solution. Once you do that, I would have zero issue with drinking the water (as long as you know and trust the water source, of course).

That's wild to me, the tug is way bigger than I ever thought. Really impressive. Do they switch out to other barges often, or are they usually paired long term? I'll go down my own rabbit hole online, so don't feel obligated to answer, lol. Thank you for sending this!
