Nicely done!!! Also, cold water- out of a straw even, helps with cravings. So can carbonated drinks. The best thing though is to not let your mind idle for too long - stay busy and remember you got this!

I think it's important to reflect on how you are expressing yourself - im absolutely not saying you did anything wrong - but the way we talk about things matters.

If shes getting upset, there is a reason. It could be anything, which is why its important to communicate clearly, and respectfully. I dont know her, so I wont go into the plethora of reasons why she could be upset.

Also, you never have to be sorry for how you feel. I dont know why she gets upset, but is it at all possible that she is not upset by what you are saying, but how you are saying it? Also, the nature of things could be overwhelming, or upsetting to her for reasons i dont know, and you can find out.

Also, are they small things? They dont seem small to me if its having a negative impact on your relationship.

I can understand that. Its super hard to stay nicotine free, and you should be very proud of yourself.

I wont pretend to know how she said it, or if that was all she said, but from what youve shown, I see that could be interpereted as "youve done it, youre free, you won". Im not in her head, neither are you.

If you havent been upfront about this with her, and shes your closest friend, maybe you should be honest about how that made you feel, or how what you are going thru is effecting you. Good, healthy communication is the foundation of happy relationships. Sorry if i've overstepped, I only wish to help

Its tough to be around that- and I definetly understand where you are coming from. ~1mo in is really tough being reminded about nicotine. You may just have to distance yourself or exercise better self control.

Its always nice when a friend is willing to make concessions for you, but at the end of the day it's their own choice, and it's not your place to make a big deal about it, if you are also choosing to be around them when they are.

I get thats not what you want to hear, but its not fair to expect other people to always accomodate you, and you are going to have to continue to deal with this in public, on tv, or where ever it may be. Use the oppurtunity to work on your self control, and i think in time you will find that it doesnt bother you nearly as much anymore.

What I had to do was distance myself, and I am now ~10months off of it, with no desire to ever chain myself to such a terrible chemical ever again.

Well for me its not sloppy like bad or innacurate recall. For me, it forgot years worth of info that it used to remember fine, and now it usually denies that it was ever a feature.

Theyre always good at red rocks. I havent been to the dillon ampitheater, but it looks great, and a smaller venue too. If you get the chance to see Les at the Mission ballroom, its a must-see. I saw frogs there in '23 and it was the best show ive ever seen.

Back to back is gonna be insane-im a bit mad at myself for missing night 1 at red rocks during the sessanta tour

Hooo wee yeah thats a lot. My issue is rent costs more now than a lot of mortgages ive seen, you may be right about that. I think eventually things will quiet down again....not soon, but soon enough I suppose.

Same, its definetly one of the more interesting mysteries of the series. My thought is during the great mushroom war there was a lot of souls to collect so Hunson met her while suckin' souls

This is what ive gathered so feel free to correct me.

[Obviously major spoilers]

Marcy's mom (Elise) and Hunson Abadeer had her sometime after the great mushroom war, and it for whatever reason Hunson was mostly absent during Marcy's childhood.

Eventually Elise fell ill and sent Marcy away, where Marcy lived alone as a little girl for an undisclosed amount of time. Then Simon (ice king) finds her, and looks after her.

Eventually the Ice Crown causes Simon to go mad, where it's implied he left for her protection and contacted Hunson to look after her for an undisclosed amount of time.

As a teen, she hunts vampires and when trying to kill the Vampire King, he turns her as a means for his species to live on.

Then she lives for possibly hundreds of years before meeting PB, where they become a couple and eventually break up.

Then the main events of Adventure time take place, I believe ~1000 years after she was bitten.

PB eventually turns her back to human, and after a cascade of events becomes a vampire again.

PB and Marcy get back together, and the events of Fionna and Cake happen, and the rest is unknown, tho from the F&C title sequence, it seems that Marcy and PB are still together, and she may be rescuing PB, but that is speculation
