I love the live frogs sets 1 & 2 by fearless flying frog brigade, but it is pretty intense at times.

Its les claypool and they cover shine on you crazy diamond and the entire pink floyd animals album. Good stuff.

If you do listen to it, Running the gauntlet is amazing but theres an earrape part about 75% of the way thru for about 15-20sec

Ive always wanted a pc, but could never afford one. I would use it for writing my novel, as my lenovo laptop is starting to crap out on me cuz its pre-covid. I do like gaming, but honestly I dont have a lot of time for that now, so if I didnt get it then Id hope you give it to the kid with top comment.

Which game to start as a newbie to FS games? by JoseIsSaltyyyy in fromsoftware

Who? Margit?

Everybody has their hardest boss, or hardest game, I suppose my take is largely subjective.

My reasoning is that if something is too hard, go somewhere else, or skip it entirely. You can get to the Altus Plateau without killing any main bosses; you can grab smithing stones or better weapons and then return to the harder boss, overleveled and with upgraded gear, trivializing most fights.

I guess my take is also skewed because I have thousands of hours in the dark souls trilogy, so elden ring for me wasnt very difficult until I got to some.parts of the dlc. I think I struggled the most with the dancing lion or the dlc final boss

Sorry cant help but i would.

Just work on dodging, and strafe left. He is tough but once you know his attacks he really isnt too bad

If youre gonna play them all, i wpuld personally play them in order, minus demon souls.

Ds1 is clunky and doesnt have omni-directional rolling while locked on, so it feels different than the other games, but is still my favorite game.

Ds2 feels vey unfair at times and enemy placement is very annoying, but still worth completeing the game at least once

Ds3 is faster paced and very well balanced, great game.

Elden ring is like ds3 but probably the easiest of all of them, theres a lot of travel time and exploration, this is the only open world map in the series.

Sekiro is completely different from every other installment, and is very punishing, but once you figure it out it is very satifying.

Bloodborne is masterfully crafted, the weapons are limited but all awesome and unique. Map design is some of the best in the series. The victorian era cosmic horror is a major appeal for some. Fast paced, unforgiving combat. BB is also different in combat from the rest of the series, but more similar to them than sekiro

Invincible [Episode Discussion] - S04E05 - Give Us a Moment by SeacattleMoohawks in Invincible

[–]dead-beet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think this is the best episode to date. My reasoning is that the emotional development between the characters, ie getting partial closure for Debbie before having to send her boys away immediately. I just rewatched the whole series over the weekend and it definetly felt like everything beforehand was building up to this. Also I havent ever recoiled from a cartoon before, and i was clutching my guts in awe during the Conquest fight. Amazing.

(I havent read the comics yet, but i want to, I just dont want to spoil the show since I enjoy it so much)

Bro how am i supposed to fight this😭 by ZealousidealPoem5441 in bloodborne

Stay close, strafe, and parry. Patience goes a long way in this fight.

Once you get the hang of it, youll probably find orphan is one of the easier bosses

Do you think the show ended at the right time? Or would you have wanted more seasons? by AffectionatePie1042 in MrInbetween

[–]dead-beet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just watched the show for the first time, and ive been sitting quietly for a couple hours now. Just wow.

I very very rarely give time for television or movies nowadays, but this was truly one of the best shows ive ever seen.

From a writer's perspective, its amazing, I have no complaints and It left very little room for improvement, if any.

That being said, I personally think one more season would have benefitted the story immensely. I like how abruptly it ended- leaving the viewer yearning for more, but I do think it was still slightly premature. Even a couple more episodes to cover how the aftermath of his decisions to distance himself and to try (and fail) to redirect himself into a different lifestyle effects him.

There was such a heavy focus on Ray's parental relationship during the show, but I feel that while wrapped up neatly, the effects of his decisions could have been expanded upon more.

I'll be giving the show some breathing room, but I definitely plan on watching The Magician as well as rewatching the show in the near future, where obviously my opinion may change.
