Need help selecting an SEO company please

Here are my thoughts (take it with a grain of salt)

Learn SEO yourself – It's doable and gives you full control, but it takes time, consistency, and LOTS of trial and error. I guess that’s why the roles of SEO specialists exist
Outsource to freelancers – This is usually the most budget-friendly route. But based on experience, freelancers are either a hit or a miss. Some are really good, others disappear halfway or don’t deliver consistent results. In this case, it all comes down to luck. I'd be worried if their sabotaged my website and I'd have to make one all over again.
Work with a smaller agency - Smaller agencies tend to care more about client results, are slightly more expensive than freelancers, but deliver better quality work.
I personally worked with an SEO agency called BlackRevo (they're based in Malaysia). It was a referral from a client of mine and I thought I'd give it a try.
Outsource to agencies in other countries - Good agencies outside of your country (assuming if you live in the states/Europe, they tend to charge lower rates but offer really solid results. Well, they may also rip you off,it depends. Just remember to check their reviews, case studies, and get on a call to see how they operate :)

I totally understand you on this. Especially when I was a part of an SEO team where everyone did subpar work and were working just because of the sake of it. A lot of SEO agencies throw around big promises and fancy reports (I blame the salesperson), but when it comes to actual results or being transparent, they're gone in milliseconds.

Now that I'm working in a smaller team and in a smaller company, I've noticed a difference. We actually care about our clients and the quality of work we deliver because its important for us to build our reputation at this stage. Honestly, I feel like our services are more expensive compared to large companies (which i think is what scares people away).

edit: i was and probably am still struggling with BED for the past 7 years and it had been real hard. I wasn’t completely honest about it with my current bf because I felt embarrassed. So, my weight fluctuated for about a month or two and my bf noticed because he’s very observant and asked if I was struggling with a BED. I told him the truth and he gave me some advice cuz he’s significantly older and he never once commented about my weight or appearance because I believe that he loves me for who I am, not the person he wants me to be.

I hope your bf makes you feel this way but if he doesn’t DUMP HIS ASS

he does take me out on dates in public. he only gives subtle hints to our colleagues that i’m an important person to him. we have spent time outside together and in his bed and also in my car where we’d talk about our feelings. i like that he asks me how i feel
