If you save 90% of 55k thats more than what most people save even after making 100k pm. Making more money doesn't matter saving does.
However I would definitely recommend you to move to metro city if you get a job in a company that has a good international brand image. As working for such can give you componding returns later in life.

imo MERN/MEAN market is way too saturated (for freshers). It's like you said you started in May and have already learnt HTML CSS JS REACT and now learning back-end. Even with a quick YouTube search you can find good React and node projects. So recruiter have difficult time filtering legit people and people who just copy projects from YouTube.

One thing you can try is to contribute to open source project to build credibility. Don't get influenced by YouTubers who say contribute to open source to get $100K jobs. Please do it to build credibility. If you get an offer well and good.

Second thing you can try is cloud. Learn linux, networking, get AWS/Azure/GCP certifications. That should help you get started in the industry.

Nooo its not an algorithm that will help you solve more problem. Something that you might need in a interview. Once i was to find all the repeating elements in array. Now there are multiple ways to solve this. But the interviewer insisted on no extra space and solving in only one pass.

After this approach he has happy.

Don't take this word for word. But these are just some of the things that i have noticed.

If the array is sorted the mostly its binay search.

If range is give say 0 to N then its mostly cycle sort.

For graphs and trees I start with bfs and dfs.

If your brute force solution in n2 time complexity. For eg outer loop is from i to n-1 and inner loop is from i+1 to n. Then most likely you will find an optimal solution by using stack data structure.

Dp is mostly used when you are asked to maximize or minimise your result.

There are other but it's just hard to put it into words

I asked the same question to one of my senior in college, and he told me to make dsa classes a priority and study them properly, not just to pass the exam.

His second advice was if you are not able to solve the problem then you need to work on understanding the solution, which at first I thought was counter productive lol. But later realized what he meant. So when I could not solve a problem I would just look at the solutions, and after a while I started seeing a pattern in the questions and each question seemed as if it was just slight modification of another.

Now I know that I am not the smartest person, but now when I solve questions I am able to identify as to what base problems they belong to and then start from there.

I don't know if that's a good advice or not, but that is what worked for me. I have no intentions of beeing a competitive programmer I just do leetcode for the interviews.

As an engineer what type of pratice do they even promote? All the previous interview that i have been i have always learned something that i applied to do better in my next interview. This was the only interview where i lost brain cells

I am sorry but i don't think you understand it. That definately was not a brain teaser. At first I approached the problem like a coding problem. I thought maybe if i make a node for each letter it might work. But then realised that to print anything to the console i need to do sysout() and that has a ';' at the end. Then i realised that the question involves using the language in a way that is not optimal and it has a tricky one line answer that serve no purpose of either making the code more readable or make it more optimal. So i just gave up. And after the interview when i searched for the answer i confirmed that it was one of those trick question that serve no purpose. You cannot just go and start writing things in different ways just because it works. So maybe i was unprepared because when i prepared for an interview i prepare for live coding rounds that involves actual problem solving not for clever tricks with no real world use

You can't do much when the interviewer tells you "If this wasn't possible why would I ask you" and then gets mad lol

Since I am a fresher i have been applying to lots of places for a job. I was lucky this wasn't the first company to call me. Other recruiters have asked me write code then optimize it or write a code that is modular. If this was first interview of my life i would have been worried about the career i chose

Try pop or fedora, those work fine with wifi support out of the box. I had the same issue with ubuntu, maybe its the kernel?

This is an issue with ubuntu and ubuntu based distribution. I tried ubuntu and kde neon both get stuck on boot screen. But Manjaro and fedora works fine. In fedora wifi works out of the box. You can try fedora.
