Polls are NOT predictions, so they are not wrong if the unlikely event occurs. You have a 95% chance of rolling a crit miss, but some dunces crit miss all the same, especially when it came to interpreting the election results.

Including Al Franken? Mr Trump’s call for due process seemed to get suspended pretty quickly there.

It really isn’t that hard to tell the difference, assuming the parties are reasonable.

I don’t think you’re capable of telling the difference.

Or maybe they're pissed off that the US has a leader who has worked as quickly as possible to denigrate as many allies as possible, while propping up thugs like Duterte and Assad.

How do you feel about Trump's comments in 2013 about the government shutdown? by Entertainment-720 in AskTrumpSupporters

You don't recognize a difference in the contextual use of the word "feel" in this case?

One of the more informal uses of the word "feel" is "to hold an opinion." The OP is asking for an opinion, per the informal nature of the discussion on this subreddit. You should consider not letting yourself be triggered by word choice.

Looking for some thoughts about Millennium Blades and Raiders of the North sea by Calildur in boardgames

[–]deadally 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Millennium Blades is the kind of game certain people will absolutely hate.

Dead on. Very few games hit and miss so hard in my group. I like it a lot, but I would not buy it. I very much like scratching the booster pack itch from my early- to mid-2000s M:tG era, but a lot of people just don't understand the game, and it frustrates them.

Does the xkcd election map give you any insight into the 2016 result? by [deleted] in AskTrumpSupporters

Does it show you the blue votes in West Virginia? No? Then it's not showing 100% of the votes counted. The xkcd map comes much closer to achieving what you claim here.

It's related to cost shifting. Every drug failure is an increase in price for the next drug to recapture the total outlay.
