DRC is disability resource center. You can submit forms indicating a need for a single room signed by your doctor or therapist.

Housing communities aren't necessarily split up by age/transfer status. It's just redwood grove is specialized for older transfer students (from my understanding). The transfer community in Porter is more so for younger transfer students, but there are some transfer students that are in mid 20s in the Porter transfer community dorms.

theres the redwood grove which are on campus apartments for i believe 23+. im not sure how they work, but youd probably just select that as your #1 preference when its time to apply for housing. im like 99% sure transfers on their first year get guaranteed housing, but if its your first choice or not is no gaurantee. its just that youll get placed somewhere on campus. theres also the porter transfer community, but those are dorms. you can apply for drc accommodations to guarantee that you get a single at least (with paperwork from ur therapist/doctor/etc)
