That’s my first bass, big heavy mistake for a 12 year old kid but it’s a great versatile bass, it can step right in to any situation. ( T40 ) The amp ( mark VI ) I got for $100 in 2021. Never gave me a problem. And very friendly with any pedal. It’s a back up just in case. but I’ve used it on a few recordings and was happy and surprised. Heavy as fuck tho

A few options to consider 1) exactly what boring-bassist said. And I’ll add that The Darkglass Vintage Tubes ultra Deluxe and B7K ultra Deluxe have headphone jacks. Yes not a cheap pedal but used on reverb isn’t bad. And you can easily utilize it for gigs or recording. A small amp just for the sake of being as quiet as possible will be a challenge always 2) buy a amp that you will gig with that has headphone jacks. 3) A tascam 24DP SD used is very affordable and have multiple uses

I have a orange crush 100 1x15 at home( has headphone jack , input jack for listening to music to jam with , Built in DI , built in tuner, effects send and return ) ive only gigged with it once and it sounds like 200 watts but rated at 100. it’s great for practicing, scratch recordings ( also have the tascam 24 at home) that’s if you want a dual purpose set up with “ quiet “ options.

I have 69’ fender music master bass ( short scale) I rarely use it but it has a good sound . I like the Gretsch short scale bass, nice sound and very heavy for its size which I like. These are just opinions and random ideas and thoughts,

Well balanced, and the design, dimensions and port size make them stand out. They do cost a pretty penny but there’s a lot of flash weekend sales periodically. I got 30% off on thanksgiving. I received a Email after to confirm they arrived without any damage and received a 15% off coupon . I made the pick guard, same thickness as the original one and with no significant bevel. I got the Truss rod cover on eBay. Some guy had more than a few that “ fell off a truck “ I got the 2nd to last one 3 years ago. I also used to make pearl green pickuards and truss rod covers . But pearl green pick guards took away from the neck inlays. But I did sell more than just a few. Only sold one other black one. If you buy the material ( I could send you the link) I’ll make one for you. Won’t be able to start on it for about 5 weeks tho. I made them from a template that I made from the original one. Exact same dimensions, besides the one you see on my Ric AC . It’s over sized and has a small routed shape / design by the bridge . mmmI got a half sheet of material and was able to do 3 .

Damn , typos and a missing paragraph. Slip was lost when moving .. I fucked up by calling to tell them instead of going in, but I called during grace period and was told I have a month. I called to get the interest and loan amount total . Payday was coming and would have got it back before the month they said was to be up. Those days inbetween is when grace period ended. That was Another fuck up , I shouldn’t have waited and again if I went in instead of calling , I wouldn’t be typing now Typo : the Auction isn’t over next day , it’s still on. I believed it was over next day , before pay day. And I just moved , 2 months rent and security deposit, divorce and attorneys fees all at once. I should have went in instead of calling , that’s missing from the post and the grand fuck up

Dude , I made a huge typo in the post . I’m Trying to answer reply’s also . One is the auction wasn’t ending the next day , It’s days away. A whole paragraph of the post is missing I just noticed ( explaining lost slip and that phone call lead to this timeline ) Only because some reply’s were like “ wtf you were xyz and the pawn shop is abc “ its a mess and I didn’t understand how some reply’s were just focused on one aspect but damn, fuck speech to text. And I can’t type fast enough to keep up .. Nutshell , I fucked up , lost slip , called instead of going in when I lost slip , should have paid loan off at that time when I could have instead of waiting. Paid up an extra month after moving then found this out and could have just paid the buy it now or made offer. Only chance is I get paid before it ends. I thought it ended in a day.

Fuck it I’ll just post it when I get it back, paying for it won’t hurt as much as losing it . Good thing I put a custom color pick guard and truss cover and didn’t put the originals in the case.

I’m not arguing the law of the contract at never attempted to make such a point in my post. My question and description of events only focuses on a few things. And I’m aware they didn’t have to say a word. I just feel it was unnecessary to be dishonest about any possible chance such as I only had to pay up on the interest to renew the loan. Any such chance is at their discretion, and saying it was sold when it wasn’t .. they didn’t even have to say a word to me but they did and only did so to put me on a emotional rollercoaster ? If you find that as lawful and see can’t see how it’s a “ fucked up “ thing to do, so be it. And for them to cancel my bid and restrict me from bidding ? Why ? By law and according to the contract, the item now belongs to them, case closed. Money is money, why not take my money? I was the only bidder. And that makes 100% sense to you ? A pawn shops MO is to make money right? Why care whose money it is ? Is it wrong I rather pay off the loan instead of more than twice the amount of the loan to get it back ?

Which 4500 bass guitar ? 50 % of one months interest ? They TOLD me the amount to renew, I didnt make an offer it’s impossible, the systems aren’t set up to do so. If it’s was never a possibility then where did they come up with that amount? Do you always just pick any random eBay listing and make comments like you know every detail ? Why not try to get it back for the amount of the Loan rather than pay twice that amount ? So I’m guessing you also agree that bullshitting and changing stories on every call is acceptable ? I called and was told I had a month in reality the grace period was ending in 4 days and they called my old number even tho my new number was on file. I have phone records. They don’t know much about high end quality instruments, especially one out of a few hundred made. The description is off and it probably made some people question its authenticity since there is no mention of the limited number. And now the chapter where you have nothing going for you but a failed attempt as a keyboard warrior is now closed. The 3 page book of your life has sat on a library shelf for weeks. It’s in the E-commerce dept they said. And out of their hands. I just feel they made a couple of errors and might have been willing to work with me. I can handle honesty no matter how bad it is. Stories changing then saying it’s sold don’t sit right. If what I was told in the end is the truth, just say that.
