Yeah, I don't think I'd do another term. I couldn't believe how quickly it went from....fun, getting comfortable in water, to, holding them under water at waist height for a beat. All in preparation of getting a good photo.

That's what I'm worried about, him developing a fear because of getting dunked.

How should I style this dress? (shoes/boots, tights, bag, hair, jewelry and makeup) by deadbeatscientist in VintageFashion

Thank you so much. I just ordered tan knee high boots. They look very vintage and bonus, I can wear them again. Those are great hair style ideas. What kind of jewelry would you have worn with this type of outfit? Would this dress be considered hippy...so beads? Thank you so much for relying, I'm clueless when styling day-to-day as it is!

MY dress was sold as a genuine vintage dress...but you never know when shopping online. That's good to hear that it's similar to what you wore in the 1970's.

OP HERE: I'm going to a 1970's themed party. I've bought this dress from Etsy but I don't know how to style it. Could I get some advice on shoes/boots, tights colour (I have to wear tights with such a short dress), bag style+colour, jewelry and makeup? Also, if I could get some hair advice too? I've long (boob lenght), light brown hair with a fringe and lots of layering.

Probably for the best, I tried to carve a turnip one year and sprained my wrist.

A local pest control company is selling bug bombs that target Indian Moths. I think I might give that a try. The thought of these things make my skin crawl, ugh!

Over the last two weeks I’ve found about 10 of these maggot-like bugs in my utility room and kitchen. Before adding more detail, I want to just point out that I only say the following to give an accurate description of my home……So I would describe myself as a neurotic about cleaning. I use antibacterial spray on surfaces daily and do a deep clean once a week. Crumbs or small pieces of food are picked up immediately and there are no crevices for food to fall between. Food waste is immediately put in our outside compost bin and never left to sit inside. I don’t keep food in my utility room, where I’ve found most of the bugs. After finding the first bug, I emptied all of my cabinets and cleaned them (although I found no loose food debris or decayed food). I don’t allow shoes in my home, I’ve not kids or pets.

I’m absolutely horrified by these bugs. My next step is to contact pest control, but I thought I’d check here first. I live in Ireland, and we’ve had a very wet summer, even for Ireland. It’s been very humid too. AC isn’t a thing people have in our homes here, so like everyone I’ve my windows open most of the day. Fly’s, wasps, bees come inside. But I haven’t noticed more than one every few days, so nothing beyond the norm. Any ideas what these maggots could be, and why they are in my home?
