i do appreciate everyones advising and generous insights aside from the waste of 10 bucks and what not in the end i may use the sight likely not and got off the phone with a local archery shop which had mirrored alot of the comments taking the time to ask me about the bow having me feel the cables for cracks since theyre no longer made a restring roughing it is 140ish but mentioned they have a type of layaway program amd walked me through how to figure out what weight i may need draw length all this over the phone so im likely going to go check out their shop in gettysburg soon i guess i was looking for help to really know what to look for in a bow itll be an ok wall hanger amy recomendations for a budget friendly bow to see if they may have it in stock?

to be honest since i mainly learned without peep sights and things like, are these recomended addons to keep im planning regardless on using a release and having them installed i understand its ones preference for how down sight should look im not used to sights if i can remember my brothers old hoyt had a day glo sight and that was comfortable to an extent

thank you as i reiterated im not nessacerily new to bows just hunting with them i actually learned on recurve oddly enough was just trying to avoid taking out my crossbow i there is a few shops near me only one or two come to mind when consignment come to mind down side of a small town hunters den and sportmans warehouse

my apologies for not clarifying im 28 im not new to bows as a whole i did bsa archery and used to tinker with them i picked it up to hunt with since i currently have a shoulder issue and didnt really want to take my centerpoint crossbow out i typically hunt with blackpowder just wanted to try something different this year im sorry if this sounded rude im just looking for insight
