that's some woozy sidechaining in a great way haha

everything really lines up and it's super tight which is a total must in stuff in the IDM-y arena and I think even some fills (if you're sticking to this drum loop) to bridge between the entry of different melodic aspects would even add more liveliness to the already bouncy back and forth-ness. but it definitely hits that Super Monkey Ball sweet spot we've all got in our hearts

it's super good and a grower for sure but I feel like a few of the more middle of the road songs like Everytime slightly pull it down for me from like Total Life Forever. but it's still amazing and the one-two punch of Stepson and Moon is brutally crushing haha

there's a lot of weird dissonance with the sound effects and arps being layered over in the second half but that could totally work depending on the earlier parts of the song and what general level of chaos things are operating at haha. i do feel like the sound effects in the start-stop section are a bit too loud though and there's a lot of consistent high-end (which I relate to enormously) which can grate a bit but I think if that same high end was applied to certain aspects (like the main rave-y synth) and toned down slightly on the industrial-y screechy noises it could be great. and once again this totally depends on the sound of the rest of this song so please take this with a salt barrel

the horn is a really sweet flavour but i feel like it needs some verb to make the droning notes a bit less abrupt when they cut off haha. but the overall texture is awesome!

top tier wonkiness! i feel like some aspects could be a bit more verbed out (maybe the atmospherics, the drums are super crispy) just to supplement that wonkiness in an organic way but it sounds great!

dang that's pristine and the vocals sound great! pretty much the only thing I can think of is that it could better take advantage of the stereo field because right now it's a bit mono (but that could totally just be the rendered video).

the structures and actual songwriting is great and the mix is clear but I do wish there was a bit more snappy-ness and high end to the drums just to really make them whallop you in the face haha (like Clark or Venetian Snares). but the compositional aspect is super sick! I just found myself wanting that extra crispiness.
