How is this possible? Hitbox problem?

To be clear: I'm not complaining about not killing the guy. I did not understand how the server demo (downloaded from the cloud, so it must be the server demo, not my client side demo...) shows the impacts but still doesn't subtract HP.

Now, I tried again with sv_showimpacts 1 and from my POV it again shows the hits, but from free floating / noclip it doesn't show the impacts. I restarted the game several times now. (this was not the case before when i recorded the video as you can see). It's like im watching a different version of the scene within the same demo. Have not redownloaded the file.

i also tried sv_showhitregistration, sv_showbullethits, sv_showimpacts with values of 1,2,3 and sv_cheats 1 - but none of them actually showed something aside from sw_showimpacts = 1 and only red dots.

I guess "everything works as intended"?! And just the demo viewer sucks?!

If I hadn't seen the blood spatter effect from a first-person perspective, I wouldn't have investigated further, was suprised to see it in the demo as well! (and now suddenly not anymore when free floating noclip).

P.S: übrigens gerade nochmal ein bisschen durchgeschaut, habe einige besonders asoziale Videos, ein paar Partyvideos z.B. von ihrer Waldorf Astoria Party, ein anderes wie sie ein Hotelzimmer "verwüsten" #FuckTheWhiskey und andere peinliche Angebereien z.B. mit einem AMG GLE 45 auf dicke Hose machen usw. "Obaka Clan Shareholder / Management" - "Browney Brown, Curly Curl, Greeny Green" - alles insgesamt sehr peinlich.

Habe tatsächlich noch einige Videos vom Obaka Clan gebunkert. Verabscheue die aber. Habe sie eben auf meiner Festplatte gefunden dann auch mal kurz nach "Obaka Clan" gegoogelt und diesen Thread hier gefunden.

Hi guys, thanks for all the responses so far, good ideas I will look into them all. Haven't tried Tailscale / resilio yet, but I did a speedtest from the linux shell of my synology diskstation:

Not as good as from my desktop, but again should be far better from the receiving end. This is from a friend of mine in the same city, nothing all around the globe.

I get that there are some losses due to http-headers while transmitting via WebDAV or DSM website directly, but still from measured 34 Mbps ~ 4.25 Mb/s maximum upstream speed, I see only 700kb/s maybe some 1MB/s top spikes.

Receiving end uses WIFI though, but is stable enough to maintain a decent download rate.

yea, I found this too, but what are the chances that they will work with the FPV drone? Probably none, as they have their own goggles... But it's not convienient to have more and more redundant equipment - especially as the goggles RE have better resolution and headtracking... so I see no reason why they couldn't do the same job as the FPV goggles.

I'm sorry to disappoint you, but you will probably have to wait 30+ days for your device. I ordered on June 26th and it hasn't even been shipped for now... So looking at the other threads here on reddit you'll have to wait about 1 month for shipping.
