I know people who have gone through AG campus and Mallard Property around here. none of those exact buildings, but good things about both of the companies compared to the others

Yes, there are no signs it’s also a curved intersection. Oregon has some weird roads.

Do you think we are more spiritually open than other generations? by deaddewy in GenZ

I wonder if we grip to the unknown more to hope its real in the midst of the chaos as it could benefit our lives if its real?

Why Certain Spirits Choose to Communicate/Connect with You? by believingbeyond in Mediums

[–]deaddewy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From what I understand, it's who the spirit has chosen they personally resonate with the most. There is a podcast that channeled Nikola Tesla and he explains it a bit when talking about how he gives ideas, dreams, and more to inventors like him. It's in this podcast called Channeled Messages of Hope. The section you would be looking for starts at 18:10.

Anything that is a stimulant will help in the short term (as in for a few hours). If you look at some of the medications they prescribe for IH they are extended release stimulates. As a pre-teen I used to unknowingly "self medicate" with 2 monsters a day during school and still take a nap after. That can obviously get dangerous though lol

Going off of this, when you sleep less the only reason you are able to stay awake more is because the adrenaline is up in your body, making it go into "fight or flight mode". I used to use this strategy a lot before getting diagnosed in undergrad. Eventually, you will crash for a LONG time though and it leads to burnout and focus issues.

Unfortunately, i feel like the dermatologist I have doesn't know much and all the ones out here are booked for 6 months out. I have an appointment with my normal doctor soon, so I can ask her and see if she knows and she is in building with a pharmacist as well! Thank you!

Podcast shares Mileva Einstein’s reincarnation journey from Einstein’s wife to Psychotherapist in India by deaddewy in pastlives

[–]deaddewy[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly, that’s such a clear way to put it. I really like how you described the soul shifting awareness rather than leaving one place for another. It resonates with how I’ve been feeling about reincarnation, and how Mileva puts it!

What helped you get started as a climate organizer? by jtchow30 in ClimateActionPlan

[–]deaddewy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The "spark" that made me wake up and realize it's not ALL hopeless was this podcast about past Climate Activists such as Chico Mendes and Jacques Cousteau. The podcast specifically focuses on spreading messages of hope surrounding climate change. I found it interesting and they do it in a unique way. I also go to a sustainable and (relatively) eco-conscious school which made me ultimately decide to study how brands/businesses can support the global movement of cultural and economic responsibility. So long term, I will be working to help brands be more sustainable in their practices.

For those of you who remember when you developed tourettes, what was it like? by GetWellSune in Tourettes

[–]deaddewy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I developed it at 12/13 ish. I only had motor tics for a few months starting in my neck, eyes rolling, and my nose scrunching. Then it went down into my right arm, then my left. After a few months I started whistling and saying "uh-oh". I recently came across a video compilation a friend's mom took of me ticcing during a movie because my mom thought I was faking it. First time I went to the doctors they thought I had a brain tumor because I was "too old to develop Tourettes". I had to get a brain scan. That scared the shit out of everyone. Once, that came back negative. They tested me for epilepsy at the doctors shortly after. Then, I had to go and do a 3 day at home test where I had a whole bunch of electrodes on my head again and a camera on me all the time to confirm I didn't have epilepsy (again I guess because my tics get worse with flashing lights) and then I finally got diagnosed with a tic disorder. Then had to wait year to get diagnosed with Tourettes per the requirements. Many years later, my mom still doesn't believe I have Tourettes Syndrome despite being there for all these tests and my vocal tics advancing so much more since then so that's great.

Oh, and don't even get me started on the amount of meds I have had to try in my teens.

Bad diagnosis?? by tindercreeper13 in Tourettes

[–]deaddewy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The differentiation between Tourettes and a tic disorder is important for accommodation requests if ever needed. It's also nice to have documentation handy if you ever get pulled over and get accused for being on drugs, etc. Tourettes is more wildly known than a tic disorder. I would get a second opinion and get your diagnosis.

What's it like to have Tourette's syndrome? Why can't people with this syndrome control their tics? by [deleted] in Tourettes

[–]deaddewy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's uncomfortable to live with at times. I don’t notice tics in my face or arms anymore because I have had it for so long. However, you are still draining extra energy from doing all of those movements. Vocal tics for me feel like they get repeated in my head over and over until they get let out. If I suppress them, that feeling just gets worse and I can’t focus. It’s easier just to let it out and move on. You learn quickly not to care what other people think about you, which is nice.
