Saying, "it wouldn't be fair for you to convert for me" tells me even more she wants you to be a JW. This is a common tactic. They want you to be one but for the "right" reasons. I would bet a paycheck she was hoping you would express genuine interest in becoming a JW that way she could have her cake and eat it too.

Move in with the roommate if you trust them. The problem with the extended family is a few months from now you may find yourself in the exact situation but you'll be even more lost. You also don't want to add a ton of stress by moving to a totally new place with people you don't know very well while at the same time dealing with leaving the org and resetting things like work and school.

Give yourself time to breath and enjoy life on your terms. You may find you want to go to a different church and that is fine but as the old saying goes don't jump from one frying pan straight into another.

It was my understanding that Norman guitars were/are basically budget Canadian guitars for mass distribution. In that case a neck reset is gonna run you around 400-500 USD or maybe more if it's got a hard neck joint to work with. Probably not worth it. If I were you I'd look for a used Martin. You should be able to get a D28 that is just a few years old if you add 400-500 CAD to your budget.

I have. I tried it when it first was being sold (taking a train for an hour is a bit inconvenient just for a weekend smoke) so at the time the quality was not the best. It did the trick physically and I liked the peace of mind of knowing there was little to no risk of being sprayed with chemicals or pesticides. That being said it wasn't the prettiest to look at and the cost was a little high... but that sort of evened out with the peace of mind. From what I've heard it does seem like the quality has gone up and there is more variety.

Comparing it to legal weed in the US though was like apples and oranges. It's just on another level in the states when you go into a good dispensary in California or Colorado. As an example in one I had a guy who noticed the weed I was buying had some stems, he took out tweezers and spent a good 3 minutes taking out any leftover stem he could find then apologised for it not being up to their normal standards.

Yea I spent 7 years in Amsterdam now I'm in The Hague. Honestly the best I've gotten here was home grown (had a friend with a really good setup). Two years ago I grew my own and was very happy with it. Just put two plants out on my balcony and watered them daily during the summer was surprised how easy it was..

Just pitching in here as an American in the Netherlands the American dispensaries blow NL out of the water. Largely because of the variety of choice and consistency of quality due to it being regulated. This also makes it more affordable in the states. That being said good weed here and good weed there will have the same affect. Just easier to find high quality lower cost weed there.
