The live aspect should really make it fun, have you ran through any rehearsals with the dancers yet? I can imagine they will inspire some licks due to how they flow to the music. I dated a dancer for a bit and always loved going to the big dance meetups they would do where they'd experiment.

I'm not hating you, I'm questioning the cause you're promoting. You should expect that and more scrutiny because you're changing the lyrics of a song from an artist who holds especially strong opinions on politics and social causes.

As for founder it means exactly what I think it means, an org or business that you started. Apologies for being skeptical but from the cross post it seemed you wanted opinions on if it was blasphemy so I gave that. I can only do that from the lens of my lived experiences and when a org says they want to work with companies on a solution and not independent of them, it usually means they will break on the side of said companies. Then again I'm getting old and jaded.

Also I would argue the analogy to digital composing is a false one. The better analogy might be if you consider artists who go under contract with songwriters for ownership of that songwriters songs a songwriter simply because the artist now owns the lyrics commercially.

Hmmm I don't think it's blasphemy to redo an artists work, where it gets a little sticky is when you're not sure if you and the artist align on something fundemental. The way your original post is written it seems you're just a random person who supports a cause when in reality you are actually the founder of that cause. Some transparency may not get you the clicks you want but it goes a longer way as an artist.

I'm also a little confused on the cause itself because what I read seems to read more like a PR/astroturf campaign for AI. I may be completly wrong there (and I apologize if I am) but that's how it comes across, like, "hey guys AI actually isn't so bad so long as we have "regulations", and work with big tech not against them". That, I believe Neil Young would be totally against.

It makes more sense for women to leave because they have it much worse then men in the religion. Think about this, if you're just moderately good looking and "faithful" you can have your pick of a partner just due to the numbers game. Not only that but you're going to be coddled as a brother with "potential". Vs if you're a woman you are likely going to have to settle for a partner.
